holy crap y'all. it's been a minute. i'm pretty sure it's been like a year since i last edited this?? (also i apologize for the lack of capitalization. i have no will to fix it lol) so i definitely WILL finish this. this past year has been super busy. i moved to a completely new place, had to make new friends, adjust to the culture, and somehow keep up good grades. it's been a lot, but i've always had this in the back of my mind on a list of things to do. i actually wrote a book chapter and entered it into a fine arts competition. the judges liked it so much that i've received a superior rating with an invitation to a national competition. wooo! so basically that kinda reminded me that i have this ongoing fanfic that i still haven't finished after 3 frikin years. hopefully, i'll actually be able to finish it this year but no promises. i'll pretty much be travelling this entire summer, so i may or may not have time to write. idk maybe i'll just sit down and write it all out in like 2 days. who knows? i'm mostly writing this to let anyone who might stumble across my fanfic or has read it in the past that i'm still going to finish what i started. i guess whenever i was writing this, i was just so focused on getting the chapters that i'd already published perfect that i forgot about writing the conclusion. i think i just wanted it to be perfect before i put a cap on this story. so here we are, 3 years after i started this dang thing. in case you were wondering, i'm not gunna kill off carl just because the writers did in the show. he's still my #1 fave, so i'm just gunna pretend that carl never got bit haha. i hope you'll hear from me soon.
