Hey y'all. Thank you guys sooooo much for 1k reads! I'm super happy! Anyways, hope you enjoy!
"She's gone?!" Maggie gasped.
"Yes! C'mon!" Tara cried.
"Wha-where are we going?" Glenn asked as he rushed to put on his boots.
"To find Rick. He's looking for you two," she panted. "Whew! It's hot in here!"
"Okay. Let's go!" Maggie commanded once they'd finished packing their weapons.
The three ran to Alexandria's church where Rick was. They burst through the double doors and found Rick talking to Daryl, Abraham, Sasha, Rosita, and Michonne.
"I found them!" Tara piped.
"Good. We need all the help we can get," Rick remarked.
"What's going on?" Glenn inquired.
"Judith is missing. She's nowhere in Alexandria. We checked, and there's something else..." he noted.
"What is it?" Maggie asked.
Rick pulled out a folded piece of paper from his back pocket and handed it to Glenn. He unfolded it and read it. When he was done, he solemnly handed it to Maggie who read it out loud.
"Rick,
Did you really think this was over? I pity you and your little gated community. After what you did to my family and me, there has to be revenge. I'm sorry. I just can't let something like that slide. I'll be seeing you soon.
-Ron
P. S.
Don't try to find me because if you do, your little girl, Judith is it? will be walker food. By the way, you and Lori did a great job. She's so cute!"
"Wait...Ron? But Ron's dead, right?" Maggie puzzled.
Rick hung his head. "Yeah, but the real question is..."
"Who's this guy and where is he hidin'?" Daryl blurted.
Now, the rest of the group was circled around Rick.
"It doesn't matter who it is. They have Judith, and we're gunna make them pay dearly for it!" Abraham raged.
"Ditto," Daryl agreed.
"So, what's the plan?" Sasha asked.
Rick clenched his jaws together. "We find this person...these people, and we give 'em no mercy," he commanded. "If they're gunna stoop that low, low enough to kidnap a child, they clearly don't deserve to live anymore."
Rick's eyes glanced around the sanctuary for a moment and then stopped at each persons' eyes. They all were nodding and agreeing with him.
"Y'all with me?"
"Let's go kick 'em into next year," Carol agreed.
"If there is a next year," Rosita muttered.
"Alright, now. None of that kind of talk," Carol whispered to Rosita.
"Okay. Now for assignments: Carol and Tara, go talk to the others. Briefly tell them what's going on," Rick ordered. "Abraham and Sasha, gather weapons. Maggie, go find Carl and Enid. Talk to them about supplies for the search."
She nodded and left through the double doors.
"Rosita, prepare our transportation. Daryl, go with her. Help her map out where we're searching."
"What about Fawn?" Michonne asked.
Rick spun around to face Michonne as Rosita, Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha left.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, Fawn used to be a part of a fairly large group. So, what if she knows something that could help us?"
Rick sighed and scratched his head.
"I'm not sure I totally trust her with my daughter's life just yet," he confessed.
Michonne took a step forward. "Rick, right now, you need as much help as you can get. Hey, and maybe Fawn will lead us straight to whoever took Judith."
Rick paused to think it over.
"You don't have time to think about it right now, Rick. You just need to trust me to trust her."
"You certainly have a way with words," Rick smiled. "Now, go. Talk to her."
"Thanks for giving her a chance."
"Just go," he laughed.

"And then he looked at me like I was crazy!" Enid laughed.
"Wow. Your ex must've been really strange," Carl agreed.
Just then, a knock on the door to the infirmary interrupted Enid's story followed by Maggie's entrance. Sadness drowned her face. She bit the inside of her lip and furrowed her brows.
"Hey Maggie," Enid greeted as she sat up straighter in her chair next to Carl's bed. "What's up?"
"Well," she began. "I...um...I have some bad news."
"What is it?" Carl asked with concern in his voice.
Maggie sighed. "Someone...someone took Judith."
"What?!" Carl nearly yelled.
Sorry it's kinda short. I just wanted to update asap.
