The regret and hesitation came his traitorous thoughts. He did not regret bringing them here, but he did regret deceiving Winter, the artificial intelligence who raised him. A dark voice spoke in his mind. You could back out of the plan and reap the reward from delivering the outsiders to Winter, the artificial intelligence who raised us. He shook his head and pushed away the feeling of guilt.
He spoke, "thank you, Winter."
Veronica heard Winter praised Neo and he froze in what she could only assume was shook or fear. Veronica despite the plan was nervous.
What if this plan failed and they all die?
What if Winter discovered Neo is on their side.
What if Winter finds out or knows already?
She studied her breath and thought positive things.

She still felt anxious, she felt like Neo could betray them. She suddenly felt guilty about thinking that, however, they had literally just met him and only took a leap of faith because he let them hide from that monster. Grimsby was confidence at least that is what he is mentally told himself. He watched Neo's body movements and noted that's he nervous and probably feeling allot of other emotions. Romulus grinned inwardly, he did not feel any sort of nervousness at all, he kept a nervous facade up though, he was not idiotic enough show what he was actually feeling.
"You May go Neo, I will deal with these outsiders," Winter said with a tone distain and Neo quickly left the room still holding Grimsby gun.
