Wednesday 1:45 PM

The sky was dark and the rain was pouring, you looked out of the lightly fogged window as you watched the trees and houses go by, your mom and you were moving back to the place where you grew up, your father was in the army and wouldn't be back for a while which was something you didn't quite understand as a child. The light downpour of rain tapped against the windshield as you took a deep breath and leaned back against the seat. You turned to your mom. "Hey mom?" "Yes dear?" She replied in a sweet tone. "How long will it be until we get there?" "Not much longer." You closed your eyes as you listened to the sound of the rain hitting the roof.

"Y/n, we're here." your mom tapped your shoulder as you sat up and looked around, the rain had finally stopped and the car had parked in the driveway of your old house, the two of you exited the car as you looked it over. Blue exterior with two stories and a spacious backyard, a fair-sized porch with a bench and rose bushes in front that were in need of care. "Welcome back home! It could use some sprucing up but it's pretty much the way we left it." your mom exclaimed excitedly, you smiled as you and your mom went inside. While your mom began to bring stuff in you looked around the house as memories slowly came back to you, suddenly you remembered. "Hey mom?" She walked in the door with a large box as you walked over and took it from her as you set it on the ground. "Wasn't there a place we used to go to every year? What was it called?" She laughed softly. "Oh right! Freddy Fazbear's, you used to love going there for your birthday, those animatronics were like best friends to you." You chuckled softly. "Do you think we could check it out sometime?" She smiled. "Sure! They're open on Friday, maybe after I pick you up from school we can go." You smiled brightly. "Awesome!" She turned to walk towards the door as she turned to you briefly. "Hey dear, could you bring that box into the living room for me?" You smiled. "Sure thing." You picked up the heavy box and brought it to the living room. You gently set the box down in the middle of the room, out of curiosity you opened the box and looked inside. Most of it was a few vases and fragile glass objects, but at the bottom was a smaller box full of photos of you as a child, you gently picked up the small box as you slowly sat down on the floor to look at them. One picture in particular caught your attention, it was a picture of you as a child and your father next to you standing in front of a stage with three animatronics, a bunny, a bear, and a chicken, your expression was very excited as you smiled softly at the picture. Your mom knelt next to you and placed a hand on your shoulder. "That was your 9th birthday, your father had come home from the army and that was the happiest i've ever seen you." You smiled as you hugged your mom, she gives you a kiss on the cheek as she stands up. "Come on, let's finish unpacking." You stood up to help your mom unpack.

Thursday 9:15 AM
The alarm blared loudly, you groaned as you rolled over and turned it off, you rolled onto your back and took a deep breath, it was the first day of school and you were dreading every second of it. You heard from your mom that your old friends might be there but you weren't too hopeful. You rolled out of bed as your mom flicked your bedroom light on, you flinched at the light and groaned. "Good morning honey, first day of school huh? How exciting is that?" "Morning mom, super exciting." You said sarcastically as you yawned and stretched, your mom walked downstairs to make breakfast. You sluggishly made your way to the bathroom to wash up, you changed into your f/c long sleeve shirt and your f/c jeans, you put on a little bit of makeup, mainly some mascara and lipstick. You looked at the time and ran downstairs almost tripping. "I gotta go mom!" You quickly put on your shoes and backpack and started to go out the door. "Catch!" Your mom yelled from the kitchen, you turned to her and she threw a piece of toast, you caught it. "Bye mom!" You yelled as you closed the door behind you and ran to the end of the street just in time for the bus to get there, as you got on the bus the driver greeted you. "Morning." "Good morning." You replied as you looked for a seat, one girl looked up from her phone and lit up as she waved her arms around sporadically trying to get your attention. Something about her seemed familiar to you so you decided to go sit next to her. As you sat down she started rambling. "Hey y/n! Do you remember me? It's me Lily, from 4th grade!" Your expression lit up as you remembered. "Lily! I remember you! Wow, how's it been?" She smiled. "Well i'm doing alright, so here's the good news, most of our friends are still around but the bad news is that Tyler and his kelp-sucker girlfriend Celia is still here, so expect a bunch of horse-huck from them." You chuckled, remembering that Lily was well-known for using weird alternatives for cuss words. You also remembered that Tyler always tried to ask you out even though he was dating Celia who never seemed to know when he was cheating on her. You had always said no to him but he was extremely persistent. "Well, i'm a grown woman now, I assure you i'll be able to tolerate their crap."

As you and Lily got off the bus you talked about what it was like at the other place you moved to, soon you two started to talk about classes. "Oh wow, we have the same classes together, y/n! Well, except one which you have English instead of Science." You shrugged. "It's alright, not like i'm going to die without you." You chuckled jokingly and she laughed in return. The laughter ended however once you got to your lockers and heard a familiar voice. "Well well well, look who's back, decided to show your face after what happened with Fr-" A firm hand gripped her shoulder, it was Tyler. "Come on babe, go easy on her she hasn't even been here for one day." Celia huffed and stormed off. Tyler walked up to you and Lily as you focused on getting things situated. "Welcome back y/n. Have you reconsidered my offer after all this time?" He sounded hopeful, too hopeful, you closed your locker and looked at him with a displeased expression. "In your dreams." You and Lily went to your classes and the day went by surprisingly fast. Once it was time to leave you speed walked all the way to the pickup area and waited for your mom. As you looked around the area you noticed a strange looking man, he wore complete purple outfit and looked about in his mid to late 20's. You didn't think much more of him and your mom soon arrived to pick you up. As you got in the car she immediately asked you. "How was your day?" You sighed deeply. "Well Lily was there, but so was Tyler and Celia." Your mom sympathized with you. "Oh i'm sorry about that hun'." You sighed softly and looked out the window. "It's fine, i'll learn to deal with it eventually."

As your mom pulled into the driveway and parked you texted Lily.

You: Hey, have you seen a guy wearing all purple walking around the neighborhood?

You got out of the car and walked inside, a few minutes later she replied.

Lily: Huh.. I dunno, I think I saw one guy who used to work at the old Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but i'm not sure if he works there anymore.

You: Alright thanks.

Lily: Why'd you ask?

You: Just curious that's all, see ya tomorrow.

Lily: Ttyl

You put your phone away as you hung up your backpack and took your shoes off, placing them away neatly (you have OCD) and walked upstairs to start on homework.

After you finished homework you leaned back in your chair and took a deep breath, putting the finished work into a folder as you stood up and walked downstairs past the kitchen and put the folder into your backpack. The air was filled with the smell of homemade mac n' cheese which your mom made the best, it was always super creamy and cheesy and nearly melted in your mouth. You took a big whiff of it as you drifted into the kitchen and leaned against the counter. "Mac and cheese? What's the occasion?" Your mom laughed a little. "Well, we're back home, why not have something special?" You giggled a little. "I won't argue with that." You helped your mom finish making supper and setting the table as you told her about school and all of your friends from elementary school that were there and how you rejected Tyler, your mom got a laugh out of it. "I'm glad you're enjoying school." you smiled as you savored the cheesy goodness, your mom doesn't make it often and normally for special occasions. After you finished you helped her clean up and you read some romance novels before you went to bed.
