The whole room was lit up by lights coming from the back of the room, blinding me. The room was packed, full of students like me, studying at East high.

"This upcoming spring ball. No one is allowed to drink alcoholic beverages, smoke and even do drugs. Rumors has it that there are students using illegal drugs in our school." I bellowed to my fellow students.

Students whispered to themselves like bees buzzing around me. Surprise evident in their faces.

Having the privilege of becoming the student president of this school gave me the sense of power and will to do the right thing.

That's what happens when you have responsibilities to manage.

"If I caught someone disobeying this three simple rules you will get one week detention or worse; expelled." Some of them gasp at my speech. I ignored it.

I proceed with my orientation full of authority and confidence to let them know that this is serious business and that I will do everything in my power to let them cooperate with me.

"Any questions about this? If none then you are all dismissed and are allowed to go home except for the people who has detention." They all stood up from their chairs, quietly moving out of the auditorium. Only four of us remaining in the auditorium, with them sitting at the chairs on the front row.

"So we meet again. Aren't you getting bored of seeing my face?" I sat down on the stage, my feet dangling in the edge.

"Who would get bored of seeing that hot face of yours, Melissa?" Blake smiled, smugly.

Barbie scoffed at Blake and I rolled my eyes at him.

"The same rules applied. You'll be sitting here for 30 minutes." I say to the three of them. Blake, Barbie, and Tyler. The popular ones.

The old janitor, Mr. Fullis saw them having a threesome in the Janitor's closet. Wouldn't be surprised to hear that.

"No talking, eating, sleeping, texting, or any physical contact. If you even break one rule then the time goes back to zero. Understood?"

This is where the fun starts. No.

I place my sling bag on my bedroom desk, lazily and did my assignment on quadrilaterals.

It was past five when I called mom to pick me up at school. Those baboons were giving me a hard time. I was the one suffering when in fact it should be them.

They made me count back to zero every minute. Annoyed, I almost punched Blake on the face since he keeps on making out with Barbie and Tyler was texting on his phone like it was a test.

I was ready to pull my hair then. But Mr. Rances, my science teacher took my place. Thank God for a teacher like him.

After I finish my math assignment, more paper works are waiting for me due to being the student president.

I groan in annoyance.

God why are you punishing me?
