The ride with Christian was silent but small talks here and there.
Mylene asked questions and Christian answered coolly.
He must been used to people asking him many questions.
I remembered when I first conversed with Christian, he kinda freaked out but not with Mylene.
They make a cute couple. I smiled.
Marianne dropped me off first since my house was nearer to the school and I was lazy in walking. "Bye guys!" I waved to them.
I tap Marianne's window and she rolled them down.
"Take care of Christian." I let my eyes linger to Christian who was observing my house as if taking note.
He must be curious about why our house has a big wall fence and has no houses beside it. Our neighbors were a kilometer away.
Let's just say, Dad doesn't like paparazzi's disturbing our peace. He was a well-known businessman from all around the world and someday I want to be just like him.
"Aye aye captain." Marianne mocks as she rolled her windows up. "Bye Christian!"
He smiled at me in a way that made my heart skip but not like the boy from the beach did.
They zoomed out from my peripheral view.
I borrowed Marianne's phone at the car and told mom I lost my phone. She didn't fret and that made me glad.
I walked up to open our gate, the spare key in hand that was hidden underneath an artificial grass.
Mom texted that she and Denis isn't at home and Dominic was at a party with his colleagues.
Pushing the key to the hole, it made a 'click'.
I push the gate open, using all my force.
In front of our gate was a garden.
Mom loves nature and mostly she stays home to take care of Denis, she uses her spare time growing plants and trees.
They are beautiful.
Toffee came up to me. Barking happily, wiggling her tail back and forth.
I pet her head, her soft fur caressing my hand. "Hey toffee!" She barks.
I reached the door on our house and typed the code for access inside the house.
Once opened, I stressfully walk upstairs to my room.
Even though I did nothing but sit all through my classes, my body was tired.
I lazily unlocked my door and set a foot inside. Every step that I took was heavy.
God. This day is awfully awful.
My bag is thrown on my desk by me.
The alluring sight of my bed made me stride to it.
I plunge on it and sighed as I feel the softness of my bed.
It felt like heaven!
I twist my upper body and I heard a crack. "Oh God."
I groan in delight as I heard and felt it.
My eyes were starting to doze off but first I had to change my school uniform.
Shuffling towards my closet, I found a white plain T-shirt and a Winnie the Pooh pajamas inside.
I unbuttoned my blouse showing off my undershirt.
Out of nowhere, something sharp was pressed in my neck.
Hot breath lingered in my ears, making me shudder. "Got you." He says before injecting me with the needle.
Pain shots in my body.
My eyes started to waver.My eyelids felt heavy.
My vision blurry.
My body numb and paralyzed. Before I could hit the cold floor, strong arms catches me in time.
I couldn't help it.
I closed my eyes and was surrounded in darkness.
~~~~
I groaned.
'Ow! My head. It's aching.'I stretch my neck side to side.
It was sore.
'Fudge! It feels like my head vomited bad food.'
Raising my hands to my throbbing brain, my hand stopped mid-way.
Something was trapping my hands.
I tried to move my body but it was also strapped.
I can't even see anything but darkness. 'What? What's going on?'
"Good morning, sleeping beauty."
