Calvin decided to tell her, it made sense why he didn't want her to go crazy and always wonder. It is hard to tell someone who you care a lot about why you ran away from home. It is an embarrassment to not just you, but your family's name and Calvin right then and there decided to be the "man" (hehe) he is and tell her. It is kinda hard because he doesn't want her to look at him a different way.

Calvin: Rita, I have to tell you something.
Rita: Yeah, What is it?
Calvin: It is about how I got here, I know you have been thinking about it.
Rita: Oh.
Calvin: Yeah, Sorry I would tell you how you can block me out, but what good would come out of that.
Rita: Everything good would come out of it, such as you minding your business.
Calvin: Eh....No
Rita: I will find a way. Meanie.
Calvin: Wow, you are so a child.
Rita: Like you aren't. Just tell your story ok don't want to waste my time fighting with.....you.
Calvin: Whatever....Ok so it started out when I was 5 I was really young and when your parents came to visit my father things got heated and I saw it all. He was different that when I saw him transform into a monster my first thought was to run, but I didn't I shape shifted  into him and when it distracted him I gave them the signal to run. They ran, but they allowed me to come with them without my dad seeing me or so I thought. I think he saw them take me, but they didn't take me because if they left I would've ran either way. I probably would've come to Earth, but I am very glad I came here to learn more about me. I also am very happy that in the end I came to see you and look what that led to.
Rita: I'm sorry about what happened and I'm glad that in the end we met I mean like who wouldn't want to meet somebody like me like come on I'm the best.
Calvin: Wow you sure are full of yourself.
Rita: Why do you always have to be so mean?
Calvin: Hey, I'm not mean.
Rita: Yeah you are you're such a jerk you know.
Calvin: Yeah I jerk that you have a crush on.
Rita: Technically not anymore since you like me back so.
Calvin: How do you know that?
Rita: You just told me.
Calvin: Huh?
Rita: I love how stupid you are sometimes.
Calvin: Hey I'm not stupid I'm just slow.
Rita: Same thing but you know you do.
Calvin: Eh, there is no point in lying.
Rita: I love the fact that we changed the subject.
Calvin: I'm glad we did.
Rita: Hey, wanna know something...
Calvin: What?

Rita leans in to kiss Calvin on the cheek, but before she does that she says.

Rita: I thought you said love was a waste of time.
Calvin: I was young and dumb then love is,not meaning to sound cheesy, but it is magical.
Rita: WOW so cheesy, but sweet and guess what you still are young and DUMB.

As soon as Rita finishes her sentence Calvin pulls her in and instead of a kiss on the cheek he kisses her on the lips. It lasted for one min, but to them it felt like hours.They stared into one another's eyes as if it was for the first time. They got closer and it took a long time for that to happen they had an amazing journey together one that will last until they were apart. It will be a mystery to us for now to know what happens between them.
