Liquorice hums a song that was stuck in her head for a couple of days already.

She was curling her dark hair with a curling wand. Upon her neck rested the golden locket she had received from Faith. It was still as beautiful as the day she received it.

Liquorice was finally going to be introduced to the man's two older brothers over a formal dinner.

Liquorice glances at the backpack that rested on John's bed. Liquorice wanted to make a good first impression, and to do that, she had to look good.

Liquorice pulls a red dress that she had brought from New York, and hugs it to her chest. She smiled at the memory of her first getting the dress.

She strips down in front of the mirror, posing in the mirror in her undergarments for more than five minutes. Liquorice checks herself out in different angles.

When the dress is successfully on, she spins in the mirror, admiring her deep curves that took long to appreciate. The dress was a strapless dress, revealing a bit of cleavage. She wondered if it was too scandalous for a family dinner.

Liquorice pulls the material outwards, frowning at the extra material that once hugged her body more properly in New York. She smiled, realizing she was loosing weight.

She pins some bobby pins into her hair, and spots the lump hidden under the mattress while fixing her hair. She spins around to look at it, her features faltering as it still made her feel bad.

"Liquorice?" John walks in to the room, in a different outfit than usual. He stops in his tracks when he spots Liquorice, in all her elegance.

Liquorice smiles pearly whites, her red lips curving with it.

John glances at her cleavage, before clearing his throat.

"You look great."

Liquorice smirks. She tilts her head, making her way slowly to the man before her.

"Don't I look rather...delicious?" Liquorice stares into John's baby blue eyes, a dark glint taking over.

"Not now, Converse." John tries to brush her off, not wanting to show up in ruined clothes.

Liquorice laughs at this.

"I just wanted to tell you that we are going to be leaving soon." John states, grabbing something off of a dresser.

Liquorice grabs his hand when he is about to pull the item away. Liquorice pulls his arm just enough to go horizontally across her body.

They gaze in the full-body mirror, appreciating how great they looked together; John was checking out Liquorice, whereas Liquorice was checking out John.

"They can wait." Liquorice spins around in his arms, facing him with a small smirk. Liquorice with her arms wrapped loosely around his neck, leans in for a kiss.

For a second, they forget. They forget about people and dance in their heads with sad melodies.

The setting sun shone rays of orange onto the wooden walls, and it contrasted into a romantic golden shade.
