"Faith this is beautiful."

Faith and Liquorice decided on going to the place where Faith suggested where she should sing.

It was a small walk to get there, but it was so worth it.

There were countless little white flowers in a green field beside the elevated stage. The stage had chipped paint, and the white faded to a cream colour, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

"We can put like chairs over here," Faith suggests to an open space before the stage. "Oh! We can do it at evening so we can hang lanterns on trees."

This area was in a little clearing with a few trees behind it.

Faith falls onto her knees delicately on the green grass. "Now what are you going to sing for me, L?"

Liquorice climbed onto the stage with a smile on her face.

"I know what I'm going to sing for you, but for the concert, I have no idea." Liquorice replies, looking down to the woman sitting in the grass.

Faith claps, getting more comfortable on the ground.

"Uh, so this song is from this musical called La La Land, Faith have you seen it?" Liquorice grabs the unplugged mic that was laying beside her feet.

Faith shakes her head.

Liquorice explodes basically, spluttering out compliments for the film.

"If it's so great, maybe you should show me?" Faith looks smugly to Liquorice, who was pink in the face.

"Maybe another time, F." Liquorice whispers, catching on to the one-letter nickname.

Faith nods, a pink shade creeping onto her cheeks.

Liquorice takes this as a cue to start. She coughs into the unplugged mic.

"Everyone welcome!" Liquorice says in a sing-song voice, glancing to Faith. "Uh, today we're gathered here to mourn the death of Liquorice."

Faith giggles. "This won't be the death you. Here, let me hold your hand to make you feel better."

Liquorice knew that Faith was somehow joking, but in a flash, Faith is beside her, her small hand gripping onto her own.

"They'll love you." Faith soothingly says.

For an odd reason, Faith's palm started getting sweaty, and not because of how hot it was outside.

"Thank you, F." Liquorice smiles sweetly at Faith.

"Anytime, L."

With those words, Liquorice felt brave enough to sing in front of an audience. She felt she could take down an army.

"I'm getting cold, L." Faith whispers softly. Liquorice barely caught what she says until she shivers to confirm it.

"Why'd you wear a dress then?" Liquorice asks, picking a flower from Faith's light brown hair. They let go of each other's hands.
