Liquorice was pressed against the hood of her car, her dress dripping with cold water droplets. Her hair was in a stringed mess atop her beautiful head.

She giggles.

Pinning her to the hood of the car was an equally wet and shivering John. Water drops landed on her face from the towering man.

Liquorice breaks free from his grasp and sits on the hood, her legs either side of the man.

"You look hot when you're wet." Liquorice says, emphasizing the 'wet'. She brings her bottom lip between her teeth and tugs.

John looks to her lips. His dark black hair flat out onto his forehead. His bright eyes sparkled with the street light far above their heads.

"As do you." John replies, placing a soft kiss onto her lips.

Liquorice was hopelessly in love. She couldn't believe how much she was in love with the thought of loving him.

Liquorice throws her arms around the man, bringing his cold body closer to her. They provided no body heat for each other, the couple both shivering in the embrace.

"M-maybe going swimming in the middle of the night wasn't a great idea." Liquorice's teeth clatter, her stuttering over words she normally said with ease. "We're going to get colds."

"Lana, if getting a cold means staying at home with you, I would rather stay in the water all the time." He says sweetly.

Liquorice's eyes soften at these words. Her heart fluttered and suddenly the words were stuck in her throat, leaving her speechless.

"John, I-"

John kisses her to stop her from talking. Liquorice's eyes flutter shut as her wandering hands travelled to his soaking wet hair.

"J," Liquorice says, pulling away from the kiss. "I-I'm cold." She frowns.

John laughs. He grabs the woman's hands and helps her off the hood of the car.

John leads her to the passenger side of the car. He pulls open the door with a small smile.

Liquorice stands there, not climbing in. She thinks for a second.

"Liquorice?"

Without word, she starts undoing the back of her dress. John watches her, confused.

With direct eye contact, Liquorice pulls off her soaked dress, leaving her in her undergarments.

"I'm not going to ruin my car seats with water, J." She rests a hand on her hip and watches as his gaze dipped lower than her face.

He clears his throat and nods. "Of course."

With a grin, she climbs into her car.

"I hope you do not mind if I ruin your car seats." He says with a smirk on his face. He sits on the drivers seat with his clothes on. "Technically, it is not you ruining your seats."
