Calum: You had been waiting for this day since the minute you had found out that you needed braces. You had just returned from the orthodontist's office, happier than ever to finally have those chunks of metal off your teeth. You were walking around your house, eating everything that you couldn't eat while you had braces on from caramel to taffy to anything else super sticky that you could get your hands on. All of a sudden, you realized that you hadn't even taken a picture with your new and improved smile yet. Taking out your phone, you snapped some selfies and, deciding that you wanted everyone you knew to admire your new teeth, you posted one on Instagram. Almost immediately, there was a comment from your boyfriend, Calum from 5 Seconds of Summer. "what the fuck you look so beautiful" it read, and now you really couldn't stop smiling. Just after you read it, your phone lit up with Calum's name and you answered it eagerly. "Calum!" you exclaimed. "Y/N, I didn't know you got your braces off today!" he replied, and you could practically hear his smile. "You look absolutely stunning baby!" You were thankful that Cal couldn't see you blushing through the phone. "Thanks, babe." "I cannot wait to see you and your new smile."
Michael: You stood in front of the bathroom mirror, admiring your new straight teeth. You were on cloud nine after finally getting your braces off after three years. It was perfect because your boyfriend, Michael, was in your town for the next two days for a concert. Just as you were taking in your new smile, your phone lit up with a text from Michael asking you to meet him at the tour bus behind the venue. You put on a little bit of makeup and checked yourself one last time before getting in the car, wanting to look perfect for Mikey. You were so restless the entire car ride. When you finally parked and started walking to the bus, your excitement began to get the best of you and you couldn't stop smiling. You texted Mikey telling him that you were outside and he was at the door in less than ten seconds. He ran down to greet you, scooping you up in his arms so that your feet came off the ground. When he set you down, he kissed you, saying, "I missed you so much, Y/N." "I missed you too," you replied. "Y/N! Your teeth!" he yelled. "What? When?" "This morning, just in time to see you," you told him. "You like?" "Like?!" he retorted. "I love it! I love you!" His smile quickly faded as he realized that he just told you he loved you for the first time. "I'm sorry," he said, "I didn't mean to say that." "No...say it again," you smiled, making his smile return even wider this time. "I love you, Y/N, and your teeth look amazing." "I love you, Michael," you stated, and kissed him passionately for the first time without your pesky braces.
Ashton: It had been six weeks since your orthodontist had told you that you were going to be able to get your braces off. The day had finally arrived, and you were too excited for words. Your boyfriend, Ashton, was luckily home from tour and was able to drive you to the orthodontist's office and wait in the waiting room while you were getting them off. "Do you know if it hurts? Will my gums bleed?" you asked him on the way there. "Why are you all of a sudden getting nervous on me?" he laughed back. "I'm not nervous...I just don't want blood on my new shirt." Ashton grabbed your hand and gave it a light kiss as he pulled into the parking spot right next to the door. "Ready?" he asked, jumping out to open your door for you. "I've never been more ready for anything in my life," you answered him as you two trotted into the office. Luckily, you two were the only ones there that morning. It was a long three hours on the chair getting your braces ripped off your teeth, but when you walked out, you were greeted by a sleepy Ashton who had fallen asleep while you were in there. You sat down in the chair next to him and began to twirl his curls in between your fingers. "Aaaaaashton," you sung. You shook his shoulder slightly and his eyes fluttered open. "Y/N? Where...did you get your braces off already?!" he shot up. You laughed and he saw your teeth for the first time without metal on them. "Smile!" You smiled wide with your eyes shut and your nose scrunched. "Y/N, you look even more beautiful than you already did," he said. "I didn't know that was even possible." He kissed you and then quickly pulled away. "That felt so different!"
Luke: It had been a long morning in the orthodontist's office and you were so proud of your new smile without those annoying braces. You were trying to decide how to show your boyfriend, Luke, in the most exciting way. You weren't able to be with him because he was on tour, so your choices were really limited. You ran over to your laptop and decided to video call him. To your surprise, Calum, the bassist of Luke's band, picked up. "Y/N!" he waved. "Hi, Cal!" you waved back. "Y/N...did you get your braces off?!" he asked you, quite loudly. You shushed him and he covered his mouth, taking his hand off to mouth "sorry!" "Can you get Luke for me?" you beamed. Calum nodded. "He's going to be so excited, Y/N." Calum left and you heard the door to the hotel room open and close a few times before Luke sat down in front of the camera. "Hi babe!" he exclaimed. You smiled with a closed mouth and Luke seemed confused. "Why aren't you saying anything...?" He checked his phone and saw that it was June 25. "Y/N, was today the day that you got your braces off?!" You answered his question with a smile and he returned it back to you with an even bigger one. "Y/N, your teeth look amazing!" "Thank you, Lukey," you replied. "Now I really can't wait to be able to kiss you again."
