Chapter two:

Rehearsal

(Narrator's POV)

While Maks demonstrated the basic moves of the Cha Cha, Meryl couldn't help but think of how sexy he looked when he moved his hips. Then when he helped guide her moves she felt every part of her body that he touched. Her whole body responded to his. They danced as one like they were made for each other. When they danced they were in another world. Meryl couldn't hear the music anymore she just felt Maks' body against hers. Then he stopped.

"Let's take a break." he said and got his water bottle before sitting next to Meryl on the floor. "You are amazing." Meryl thought for a minute.

"You're not too bad yourself." she said and smiled. Maks gave her the laugh she began to love and want more and more.

"I will give you all I got." he said

"I want all of it!" Meryl said seductively

"I've got a lot to give." Maks said leaning towards her

"I can tell." she whispered as their faces came closer together, their lips almost touching.

"Be careful what you ask for." Maks said making their lips lightly brush against each other. They were so close, Meryl could almost feel the kiss and she shivered with desire. Her heart was pounding and she began to breath heavily. She wanted him to kiss her with everything he had. To make her feel as if she were far away in a dream that nobody would want to wake from. But Maks quickly retreated as if waking from that dream and realizing what he was about to do. He was breathing as hard as she was.

"We can't" He whispered then left the room. Leaving behind a very confused Meryl, who was still sitting on the floor touching her lips thinking about the almost kiss they just shared.
