Through my blurry vision, I could faintly see the numbers 04:46 from the alarm clock on the nightstand.
Luke was still asleep from when I got back, and only shifted in his sleep slightly from when I slipped under the covers a half hour ago.
I picked up my phone, discreetly making sure that the brightness was all the way down before opening the message.
