I decide to keep my eyes closed, I don't want to embarrass Kichi... or something like that.

"Of course you don't," He said playing with a strand of my hair.

"It's really such a shame," he said laying down partly on my chest. "What's so special about Kaede anyway?" He said with a sigh, still playing with my hair. "She's so boring." He complained.

Is he... jealous? I wanted to open my eyes, or pretend I was just waking up... but that would be kinda weird wouldn't it?

"Did you know you tend to forget things when you're half-awake? We've met so many times already. You never seemed to remember me so I just stopped introducing myself eventually." He pauses as if wanting an answer. But I didn't respond, I kept up the act. "Back at the dungeon. You woke up a few times," he said, as if giving me context for his earlier statement.

Did he know I was awake?

He pushed himself up and leaned closer to me, I could feel his breath on my cheek. He paused, my heart was racing, and then it was silent. He then moved to my ears and whispered "Oh princey... if only you were a better actor." he giggled.

I froze, did he know? Am I that bad at acting? Maybe it's just a test... maybe. I move slightly as if I was still asleep and just wanted to get more comfortable. Kokichi huffs.

"Wow, I can't believe you would keep lying to me princey!" He was silent for a minute before standing up. "Well if you're going to be rude like this then I'll just leave you forever!" He said as he started to walk off.

I move around a bit, I shouldn't open my eyes, he'll get mad if it was just a test. But I don't want him to leave, he wouldn't leave... right?

He stopped walking away before chucking softly and walking back over to me. He sat down next to me and put his arms on my side and his head on top of that.

"But of course that was just a lie, I would never leave you." he started to play with my hair again. "But it is morning, Tsumugi probably has the outfit done by now... we should probably go back," he sighed "what a shame, you look so peaceful when you sleep. Like nothing could hurt you, it's nice." he stopped playing with my hair and sat up straight. "Guess I have to ruin that, oh well!" He then jumped on me. "Wakey Wakey Princey~," He said as I jolt up.

"G-Geez Kichi, that's one way to w-wake me up," I say taking deep breathes to calm myself down, Sure I was awake but it still scared me.

"Nishishi~ it was funny, so it's worth it!" He said getting off of me and standing up. "But it's morning so we should probably head over to Tsumugi's." He said looking at the scenery.

"Oh, so we have to leave?" I ask, well of course we do, but it's such a relaxing place, I kinda want to stay here for a little longer.

"Well of course! Unless you just want to spend more time with just me~" he said looking back at me with a wink.

"I-I just meant it's really pretty here, and I kinda wanted to explore some more!" I say looking down, a small blush on my face.

Kichi giggles and walks closer grabbing my hand. "Alright, let's explore then!" He said. I looked up and he had small stars in his eyes, it was adorable...adorable?.. yeah.

He took me down the hill and back to where the pathway split "So where should we go Shushu?" He asked looking at me.

"Shushu? That's a new one." I point out.

"I came up with some more." Kichi shrugged "Now where to?" He said pointing at the paths.

"How about to that lake?" I suggest.
