Chapter 1

"NOOO!!!!" I screamed as i sat up in bed sweating.

"What is it?" my best friend Rae ask.

Finally starting to calm myself i answered "Nothing. Just a bad dream." She glared at me. She knew it was more than just a dream. She could tell that i was having flashbacks about the car accident that killed me and my little brothers parents.

"Is everything all right Jesse?" my little brother asked. "Im fine Avery! Just had a bad dream." I could tell by the way his blue eyes starred into mine that he knew exactly what i was thinking.

"JESSE! Its 9:30. We need to leave to go to rehearsal soon!" Rae yelled from the kitchen. I walked in and gave her a hug, then hugged avery and walked upstairs to get dressed.

I dug through my closet and found an old Hard Rock Café t-shirt from paris my dad gave to me from his high school trip to France. " J'Taime Dad." i mumbled to myself. I stripped out of my pj's and slipped on some low cut jean shorts and the t-shirt.

As I walked down stairs I saw Rae with two water bottles each one with our names on them. I took mine from her and thanked her. Just before opening the door I hollered for Avery to hurry up. He walked down the stairs with his brand new iPhone 5S in hand and I whispered to Rae "Why did you have to get him such an expensive birthday present?" She didn't reply she just smiled.

"Who are you texting" I asked with a grin. We all knew he was texting Ryan. Ryan has been his best not girl friend since first grade. They were inseparable. He started to smile! It's been ten years since I've seen him smile. He was only 6 when the accident. Ryan was the only person on earth that could get him to smile like that! "OK kiddo let's head out!" I said to him.

We headed out the door and into the parking lot where my 2005 purple mustang was parked next to Ryan's bright blue 2013 Chevy camero. I got it for his birthday. We took his car so people would know I was with him or else they would bang on the windows or beat on the hood just to touch my hand. We made it to BrickHouse Dance Studio without anyone noticing. Avery dropped Rae and I off at the door and I told him we would call him when he finished and he drove off to meet up with his friends!

When Rae and I walked in the studio we couldn't believe who was standing before us!
