Chapter 15

"Ok now we are going to rinse your hair and then you just need to let it dry and the color will stick." Layla said as she leaned my seat back so she could rinse my hair. The warm water was nice. I could feel it run down the back of my neck and I could feel my self beginning to relax. My eyes closed and I let Layla finish rinsing my hair with the water and I began to fall asleep. When she finished my phone buzz in my pocket and I jolted awake. It was a text from Avery again. "Ashton said that's fine. But he reserved us a table in a private room in the back and he said dress nicely." The text said. I pressed the lock and home buttons at the same time to take a screenshot of the messages. I sent the screenshot to Niall so he could know about dinner tonight since his barber took him in the other room to finish his hair. "This is the part when I say I don't wanna I'm stronger than I've been before" my phone was ringing. It's Megan.
Jesse: Hello?
Megan: Wear are you? Your supposed to be here in 30 minutes. We are about to start warm ups.
Jesse: Me and Niall are getting our hair done since our first show is tomorrow night. We will be there in a little while.
Megan: What salon are you guys at?
Jesse: The one right down the street from the studio, Tall Tail Hair and Nail salon. I'm fixing to cut mine and Niall is already getting his cut so we will be there in about 15 minutes.
Megan: Ok. I'll see you in a little while. Also our pyro technicians are here and they are rigging the stage for the rehearsal.
Jesse: Ok. Thanks. We will see you in a bit.
Megan: Ok bye.
I ended the phone call as Layla finished drying my hair with a towel. She took the cover up off of me and let the seat all the way down. "Do you know how you want to cut it?" She asked as we walked in to the main room. She led me to a chair right next to Niall and I plopped right down next to him. "I want to shorten the sides and back but leave the top so I can quiff it." I said. She picked up her scissors and got to work. It took about 10 minutes to completely finish. "How's that look?" Layla asked. I admired her work in the mirror in front of me. "It's really good. I like it. Thank you." I said still adjusting to the look of my new hair. She removed the black cover up and lowered the seat once again and I stood to find that Niall was at the front of the store talking to who I assume was a friend of his. No! That's not any friend, that's my guitar player Kai! I got up and walked to the front with Niall and Kai. "Mane yo hair in fleek!" Kai squealed as I walked over to him. "Thanks man! Aren't you supposed to be at the studio?" I asked. "They forgot to tell you that they moved the stage from the studio to the Arena and they sent me and the bus to get you. And here I am. The bus is outside!" I looked out the window to see a 30 foot long bright purple bus with my face and the words 'Alien World Tour' on the side. My mouth fell open and Niall and Kai laughed. I hadn't seen the bus yet so I was excited. I finally managed to get words out after about 45 seconds. "Wow! It's a really obnoxious purple that's for sure." We all laughed. "Well let me pay and we'll be out in a minute." I told Kai. "Alright brotha." he turned and walked away. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a blue and green card that had Visa written all over it. "I'm paying with debit." I said to Layla. She typed into the computer until she finally spoke again. "If you could just swipe there and uh me and my friend Jessica are coming to see you tomorrow night and we are super excited. We love you so much!" She opened the drawer and opened an envelope which contain concert tickets. She laid them on the counter, "Could you please sign them?" I read the tickets. They are seated on the balcony level. I opened my wallet and grabbed a pen out of the cup by the computer. I slid two more tickets out of my wallet and signed them and gave her them then I picked up the two other tickets and slid them into my wallet. Layla screamed. I think she saw that she was now two seats away from the runway. "OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" She yelled starting to cry. I walked around to her and gave her a hug. She is quite a bit shorter than I am. I am about 6'5 and she's probably around 5'8 or 5'9. "Thanks for being such a loyal fan!" I told her as a I released her from my arms. Her make up was running now because of her crying. I decided I would do something else nice. I took my phone and took a picture with her and put it on Instagram. "Thanks for doing such a great job on our hair." I told her as we walked out to the bus. The bus driver who was an older white man in about his fifties was standing outside the door waiting for us. "Hi Mr. Mac I'm Jay Morris your bus driver. I'll be driving all of your busses on the tour." he said as he reached out to shake my hand. I took his hand in mine and shook it as I answered. "Hi Jay call me Jesse and welcome to the Mac Family!" He smiled and motioned for the door and I walked up the black steps which were lit up so you can see so you don't trip. There was a shiny silver support rail on the inside by the stairs for you to hold on to as you walk up the stairs. Right after the stairs was the lounge part of the bus. It was quite roomy. There was a magenta couch on the side with the windows which were covered by a curtain of the same color. Across from the couch was a 72 inch flat screen smart tv with an Xbox 1 and Wii U. Hanging beside the tv on both sides were shelves of DVDs with glass doors to keep them from crashing onto the floor with the moving bus. Just past the lounge was a kitchenette. It had a standard sink and microwave and toaster oven. It also had a full sized refrigerator. I opened the fridge and found it was stocked with Beer and Dr. Pepper, eggo waffles and S'mores poptarts which thrilled me. Following the kitchen was a thin hallway that had the bathroom in it. Then there were the bunks. Two on each side of the hall. Liam, Harry, Louis, Steve, Rae and Avery would be staying on the bus as well as Niall but he can sleep with me in the master bed in the room at the end of the bus. The windows were all covered up and above the door was a 42 inch tv with an Xbox 360. "We're heading to the Arena now." Kai said from the lounge where he was playing minecraft. I was laying on the bed in the back when the bus started moving. I laid there for about thirty seconds before Niall came and joined me. We fit perfectly on here. I laid my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beat. "Niall I need to ask you something."
