Chapter 16

"Alright we're here!" Kai cried out just as I had begun to ask Niall my question. "Ask me later babe." he said leaning in for a kiss. Our lips intertwine for a quick second and then I took his hand and we walked off the bus together. "Are we behind the arena?" I asked Jay. "Yes sir all of the trucks and other buses went back to the studio for the night and then tomorrow they will come back." he said. We walked a little ways before my phone buzzed. Another text from Avery. "Hey did you ask Niall if he wants to go to Paris with you?" I didn't even respond I didn't want to take a chance with Niall seeing since he was standing right beside me. "Who was that? Is everything alright?" he Niall asked. I took his hand and rested my head on his shoulder. "It was Avery he was asking if we were still going to go to dinner tonight." I told him. I felt bad for lying. I never have liked lying. It makes me feel like a bad person. We walked a few more feet to a metal gray door. Jay knocked on the door and about a minute later Megan came through. "There you are I thought you would never make it." she sighed with relief. She lead us into the main room of the arena. The crew must have been up all night building the stage. Now they were busy setting up the chairs in the room. Up on the stage was my band setting up their instruments and the sound crew trying to connect everything to big giant black speakers. On the main part of the stage were my dancers stretching. "All right everyone. Today is our final dressed rehearsal so I need all of you to go back stage and meet with your hair and make up person and get into costume. You have one hour." Megan told us. I looked at Niall he seemed a little confused. "Come on back with me." I told him grabbing his hand. All of my costumes are underneath the stage so Niall and I walked back there by our selves. The curtain was already up but my costumes weren't there. "Steve!... STEVE?!" I hollered. He came running around the corner within seconds. "What's going on?" he asked a little worried. I glared at him as he glared at Niall. "Where are all of my costumes and make-up?" I asked. He looked at me like I was stupid. "Follow me!" he said and turned and walked away. He lead us down a long tan cinder block hallway. There were multiple blue doors down the hallway which was very dimly lit with no windows. We walked almost all the way to the end of the hall where two big muscled guys stood in front of a blue door with a gold star with my name inside it. I guess this is my room. The guards moved aside so that I could get in the door to my dressing room. I walked into what I think Is the nicest room in any building ever! There was a full lounge set complete with a full sized sofa, a maroon recliner, and a bright yellow cushioned chair with a brown coffee table in the middle. On the wall was a mantle with a Comcast DVR, an Xbox 1, and a set of controllers. On the opposite wall behind the couch was a long counter mounted at seating level which held my make up. Kat, my make up artist, was already here preparing my make up for my beautification. "Hey Kat! How's it going?" I asked her. "I'm great! It's been a while!" she said. I gave her a hug. "It has! Let me go put on my first costume on so they can take the costume rack under the stage." I said. She nodded going back to preparing my make up. My first costume was a pair of black boots with glitter on the toes. I wear black skinny jeans with a rainbow studded belt and a black t shirt with a blue jean jacket. On the belt was a gun holster with a shiny silver plastic gun. I grabbed my clothes off the shelf and took it into the bathroom which was on the other side of the room. I slipped off my pink converse and slipped my shorts off my legs. I realized my pants zip up from the back so I cracked the door open and called for Niall. "Hey babe will you come help me with my pants?" I asked sweetly. "Yeah." he said and walked over to the bathroom. When he got to the door I opened it enough so he could get in and I closed it and locked the lock. "Ok my pants cuff button around my ankle and then the legs zip up behind the legs which I can't reach." I said. He nodded. I slipped my waste band on and the zipped my front zipper and buttoned the front button. Niall zipped up the back leg zippers and rubbed my legs. I looked at him. He winked and licked his lip. I laughed. "Thanks babe!" I told him while he stood up. "Anytime honey!" he told me. He put his hands around my waist and pulled me close to him. He looked at me and smiled again but this time he put his lips on mine and we locked lips. He slithered his tongue into my mouth and messaged my tongue with his. It was nice. He moved his hand up my back under my shirt. Then he grabbed my shirt and pulled it off my head. "Baby I got get dressed." I said coming up for air then going back to kissing him. He chuckled and rubbed my stomach. "I don't care I just wanna stay like this forever." he continued to rub my abs until I finally had to let get so I could get dressed. I pushed him gently off of me then kissed his cheek. "I love you but I gotta get dressed. Save it for tonight." I told him. I winked at him. He laughed and walked back into the main room. "I love you." I called after him. I took the black shirt off the rack and slipped it on then slipped my jacket on. My regular clothes were still on the floor so I picked them up and threw them on the couch next to Niall who was now joined by Kai. They were playing what I guess is Left 4 Dead. "Hey Kai! Is that Left 4 Dead?" I asked him. He continued to glare at the tv not even acknowledging my existence. Oh well. "Hey Kat. You ready?" I asked her. "I am. The first time I did your make up I about killed you cause you wouldn't sit still now your getting so much better at just sitting." she laughed. First was foundation and concealer for all of my ache scars and little cuts from where I shaved this morning. When the make up got into my cut on the left of my cheek it had a slight burn like fire but then faded away. Kat continued to spread the liquid foundation all over my face until we heard a loud scream that sounded like it came from a girl. "Shit! What the hell who did that?" I asked. I looked in the mirror in front of me seeing a reflection of Niall pointing his finger at Kai who was throwing a temper-tantrum. "Did you loose Kai?" Kat asked. He glared at her. Hard. All you could hear in the room was Nialls faint chuckling and the sound of a dog barking. Wait! A dog barking? "Do you guys here that?" I asked confused. Kai started to smile but quickly hid it and Niall turned his head and acted like he had no clue as to what was going on. Idiot. He knew exactly what was up. The barking stopped. "Knock knock." said a familiar deep voice of a sixteen year old. It was Avery walking in on his crutches. "Hey! What are you doing here?" I asked. He walked over and sat next to me in a chair right beside mine. "I came to watch your rehearsal. It was either this or stay home by my self and watch tv while Rae ran some errands." he told me. I turned back around and face the mirror so that Kat could proceed with my make up. I needed to begin heading to the stage in 25 minutes.
My make up took about 15 minutes which left me 10 minutes to just chill. I walked over to the couch and plopped down by Niall who was still playing head on in his game with Kai. "So are you ready for the tour to start Jesse?" Kai asked. Oh good lord the world must be ending Kai is talking to me while playing a video game. "Yeah man! I've been looking forward to it all year! I'm ready to go to Paris!" I told him. He continued playing his game. "That's a nice place to go. I went in high school with my French Club." he responded. "You were in French Club?" I asked. He still played his game but this time a respond didn't come a knock at the door did. "ITS OPEN!" I yelled. Megan walked in. "Time to head to stage Jesse. " She said. I walked over to my shorts that were on the counter and pulled my phone out of the pocket, turned it to vibrate and slid it into my boot. "Hey Niall. Since you helped me with my pants just a second ago will you help me with my first costume change?" I asked while we walked hand in hand down the hall way together. "Sure anything for you love." He said. He leaned over and kissed my cheek and then Megan dragged me under the stage away from him. I saw him mouth "I love you" before the lights in the room went dark. I began to hear the band playing the sound effects for the animations on the biggest screen which came all the way down to the stage to hide the lift from the audience with me behind it. Then fire exploded right out of the sides of the screen. The band played the beginning of the first song... E.T. The entrance to the song was about 15 seconds so the dancers could get to place and then the music stopped and fog began to fill the area behind the screen which began rising to reveal me hidden behind a thick layer of fog. "Your so hypnotizing. " I sang as I stepped out of the fog where the bright lights blinded me allowing me to see only the stage which was lit and nothing but black beyond that. "You're from a whole 'nother world a different deminism you opened my eyes and I'm ready to go lead me into the light." I continued to sing and dance along with the dancers. Extraterrestrial" The whole stage was on fire with different colored flames and sparks. The crew had fans placed on stage so they could blow all the fog away faster than just letting it sit. I walked down the runway of the stage and began to speak to my audience. "WHATS UP JACKSON MISSISSIPPI?!?!?!?!" I screamed. Hopefully my crowd will respond tomorrow at the actual show. "Welcome to the alien world tour! I'm so happy to finally being on my own tour with each and everyone of you guys. Ladies and Gentlemen this next song... Is called... Party in the USA!" The band played while I ran down stage to get In places with my dancers.
