(Needed a break...but I'm back!)
----

The man watched as Noonie sat by herself on Kaid's bed, a smirk covering his face as he waited for the perfect time for his presence to be known...

He watched as Noonie rubbed her temples, moving from Kaid's bed to Sergio's room, turning off his light and tucking his cold body under the covers. He watched as she searched through his other rooms, kitchen, and finally rested on the couch.

Noonie plopped onto the couch, turning on the television, flipping through the channels and growing bored at the selection.

The man took his time, slowly making his way toward Noonie as she sat, oblivious of the dangerous presence behind her. He watched as she yawned, crossing her legs and resting her head on the back of the couch.

Hands crept on her shoulder, massaging them a little, startling Noonie. Nonetheless, a smirk covered her lips and her eyes closed. She felt at ease, thinking the person massaging her shoulders was no other than Kaid.

"Did you take care of it?" She asked, her eyes still closed as the man wrapped his hands around Noonie's throat, slowly and carefully pulling her head towards his lips so he could kiss her cheek.

When she didn't get an answer, Noonie opened her eyes, caught off guard by the tall, skinny man that stood before her, tightening his hands around her throat. She couldn't scream, couldn't yell, only communicate her panic through her eyes and squirming body that told the man she was losing oxygen.

"¿Cómo se siente no poder respirar?" The man asked, shoving Noonie back onto the floor, right in front of the television.

He made his way around the couch as Noonie caught her breath, attempting to crawl away from the man. He only stepped closer, pulling a gun from behind his back, cocking it back and aiming it at Noonie.

"Ask who I am" He smirked, pressing the gun against her forehead.

Noonie trembled against the cold barrel of the gun, tears racing down her face. "W-who are you?"

He uncocked his gun, putting it back into his waistband before gesturing Noonie to rise from the floor. "Well, it's funny that you ask" His accent spewed. "Come, chica, I'll tell you all about who I am"

He took her into the kitchen to sit at the dining table, filling Kaid's kettle with water, placing it on the stove and putting it on high, then, he sat at the table next to Noonie, admiring her striking features.

"Enjoying yourself?" He joked.

Noonie didn't move a muscle. She simply tried not to move, breathe too hard or look her assailant in the eyes.

"I asked you a question chica"

Side-eyeing the man, Noonie mouth shook as she opened it, as did her hands, "Kaid will be home any minute now"

The man nodded, taking a pack of sugar from the middle of the table and shaking it into his hands, listening to the kettle's light whistles.

"Five years ago, I sent Kaid to Florida to manage some things of mine. He finished the deal fair and square and walked away with nothing, all because of two kids from the same streets as him" He began.

"I remember that" Noonie straightened her posture, intrigued. "He left in the middle of the night. Something scared him, I remember he was scared. Did he not do the job or something?"

"He did the job perfectly" The man boasted, stroking Noonie's cheek just a little bit, causing her to jerk away. When she did so, the man gripped her chin, forcing her to make eye contact with him. "It's not about the job, it's not about me funding his clubs, dealing and trading with him, it's not about any of that comprendo?"
