Strutting up the stairs to her apartment, Noonie held an inconstant smile on her face. She didn't know whether to ridicule herself or reward herself for being so bold as to kiss Kashaun.
Her intentions were clear, meet up with him, grieve, and move on with her life. But alas, Noonie had gotten jealous knowing Kaid was still with the woman he'd gotten with for revenge, she wanted to be her in more ways than one.
The hickey on Kaid's neck was a clear indication that China was trying to send a message to Kaid, that she was the one he was with every night, she was the one he fell on top of after sex and she was the one he would return to every day.
Noonie sighed to herself, knocking on the door to the apartment since she'd locked it on her way out, the chocolate milkshake still in hand.
Xiomara opened the door with her daughter sleeping in her arms, bags were under her eyes and her attire was lazy. Noonie didn't know it but, she worked her first shift at Poison Ivy and after she'd finished Xio hopped on the next train to New Jersey all to please her child.
"Xio? Hey, I didn't know you were coming" Noonie grinned, carefully hugging Xio in a way that wouldn't disturb Anastacia.
"Really? Anastacia should've told you" Xio sighed moving out of Noonie's way so she could get into the apartment. "I am so tired you don't even understand" She complained.
Noonie placed her milkshake in the trash, popping off her slides and jacket before following Xiomara to the couch. Her small TV playing no other than Bubble guppies AKA Anastacia's favorite cartoon. Xiomara couldn't stand it, but Ana loved it.
"Girl I feel you" Noonie sighed along with her before turning down the obnoxious kid's show. "I have tea"
"Spill it" Xio laughed. "Right after I go put this little lamb in the bed, poor thing hasn't let me go since I got here"
"Okay good, I need to go get Angel anyways"
And so Noonie and Xiomara went their separate ways, Noonie went into Angel's room to retrieve her and Xiomara placed her daughter into Noonie's bed. Once both girls were back and Angel was up, they all sat on the couch, popping open a pint of cookies and cream ice cream and wine.
"Okay, so what's the tea?" Angel asked, scooping a spoon full of ice cream into her mouth.
"Yeah, and it better be juicy cause you know we all have to get up early in the morning" Xio scolded. Ever since becoming a Mother, Xiomara was no longer a party girl. She relied on schedules and stuck to curfews.
"Ok so" Noonie smirked licking her spoon. "I kinda sorta' met up with Kaid today" She muttered.
Xiomara and Angel both stared at Noonie, looking at each other and then back at her. "You mean Kaid as in Kashaun?" Xio smiled with her eyes widened.
"Yes Xiomara" Noonie laughed looking down at her freshly painted toes.
"Girl so that's where you been this whole time?" Angel asked with a giddy laugh, taking a sip of her wine.
"Yeah" Noonie dragged out.
"Uh so tell us what happened" Xiomara spoke in a duh tone.
Noonie sipped her white wine, crossing her legs as she sat on the couch. "We talked for a little, argued of course and then... " She giggled a bit. "I guess you can say we did a little something"
The girls both gasped. Xio looked between Angel and Noonie and Angel sipped her wine looking down.
"What?" Noonie frowned.
