𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞

With every sun comes a new day, a new beginning. A hope that things will be better today than they were yesterday. Well, not for me. My name's Rose. I'm the only more advanced cave woman pretty much a human so far. My family, The Croods, took me in after finding me alone after my real parents death. They're cavemen by the way. Most days we spend in our cave... in the dark. Night after night. Day after day. Yep, home sweet home. When we do go out to hunt, I help them with my ideas, which Grug is VERY reluctant to try out, but hey... at least I tried to help.

We sometimes struggle to find food in this harsh, hostile world while I struggle to survive my family. We're the last ones around. There used to be neighbors. The Gorgs; smashed by a mammoth. The Horks; swallowed by a sand snake. The Erks; mosquito bite. The Frogs; common cold and The Croods; that's us. The reason we were still here is because of my smarts, Grug's strength and the rules on the cave wall. Anything new was bad! Going outside at night is bad! Basically anything fun is bad!

Welcome to my world!!!!

But this is a story about how all that changed in an instant. Because what we didn't know was that our world was about to come to an end.

And there were no rules to prepare us for that.
