7 - 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬

I'm back!

I started watching this show called Umbrella Academy and I like it... for now😅

Everyone was asleep.

Guy was in the log then woke up all of a sudden to see he was about to fall out so what did he do? He screamed.

-Time Skip-

Rose's POV

"That was too close!" stated Guy. "Don't worry. You were fine, I was watching you," said Grug. "We need to pick up the pace, do you people have any other speed except for wander?" asked Guy. We were walking again and now we were by colorful shells and other things. I walked up to Guy and poked his nose a few times gaining his attention.

"Hey, you got a minute? How did the leopard fly?" I asked. "I only share when I'm out the log. I'm funny that way," he stated bluntly. I cracked my knuckles. "Ha. Leave this to me," I stated smirking. Guy looked at Belt a little worried now. I went up to Thunk. "Hey Thunk, there's a big spider on your face!" I said. "Ah!!" I hit him towards Grug making him drop the log Guy was in. Grug looked at me mad. "Oops," I said uninterested while shrugging.

Grug turned back around to Guy. He stood up in the log on the shells. Grug gasped. "He's loose!!" He ran to grab Guy but Grug stepped on the shells resulting in him cringing in pain and screaming. "Ah!! Do not step on those weird pointy rocks," he said pointing and holding one foot in pain. "You means these rocks?" asked Thunk. He stepped on them. "Ah!! Do not step on these rocks!"

"Step aside girl," said Gran. She pushed Thunk to the side and stepped on the rocks. Her eyes widened then she jumped onto her cane screaming. "Hello! Is- nobody's listening! No one is listening! You can not step on those rocks!" said Grug motioning to the rocks only to see Guy standing on them. He then was surprised to see me as well by Guy. I was honestly over there to prove a point about shoes that I tried to get them to wear.

Guy lifted a foot and showed him how he was standing on the shells and Grug looked at him. He then growled going towards him, careful not to step on any shells, then reached out to grab Guy only for him to hop away. "Grr! Get back here! Get back here right now!" Grug said jumping up and down and hitting the ground. "Get him Rose!"

I huffed a bit irritated, cause I didn't like being told what to do obviously, but then smirked a bit. I grabbed his log. Guy looked at me but I only winked at him and pulled the rest off my "mistake". "Oops, my bad!" I said innocently. Guy grabbed my hand then ran off making me let out a yelp of surprise then hid behind a big rock or whatever. Guy panted. "What was that for?" I asked him a bit shocked.

"If we want to survive, we have to get to that mountain faster," stated Guy. He looked at me expectantly and I knew he wanted a decision if I was gonna leave with him or not now. As much as I really wanted to...

I looked pass him to see my family stepping on the shells hurting themselves and having a hard time. I then saw Grug look my way worriedly.

He must be worried about me. Who wouldn't? Some random guy (no pun intended) you met not  too long ago just took your adopted daughter. I honestly didn't think he would've cared that much but, I'm being proved wrong. I frowned a bit. I couldn't leave them. They loved me too much and I honestly cared about them too, even if they did annoy me.

I pulled my hand out of Guy's grip. I then looked up at him. "I can't leave them. They need me..." I put my hand on his shoulder. "They need us," I said then stood. I heard Guy deeply sigh then get up. "You got me," he said grabbing my hand again smiling. "Eee! Come on!" said Belt. Guy picked him up then we went back to the others.

I could tell Grug was relieved to see I wasn't leaving but wasn't so happy looking at us both together. "We have an idea!" I said.

"Yeah. We can help you but we're gonna have to make some changes around here. The log ride is over, drop the log!" ordered Guy. Grug glared at him then dropped the log. "Now, move it away," said Guy. Grug kicked it a bit with one of his toes. "Further!!" said Guy. Grug growled a bit then kicked it super far making Guy and I duck. "Really?"

"Now what smart... Guy?" asked Grug. Belt and I held up some different things that can be used as shoes.

Now, we were helping my family with their new shoes. Belt put starfish on Sandy then poked at them making them move. Ugga moved around in her shoes and almost fell like Gran did. Fish were on Thunk's feet and sucked up his feet making him jump a bit scared and walked back into a wall. "Nice fish."

I was with Guy right now with my eyes covered. I had shoes but he wanted to give me some new ones. "Okay, open them," he said. I did as he told and looked at the shoes. I screamed and he jumped. "I love them Guy! Thank you!" I said. I jumped onto him and this made us spin a bit and he chuckled. "You're welcome Rose," he said looking at me smiling. We separated and I wanted to walk in my new shoes but tripped and he wasn't ready to catch me so he fell as well and landed on top of me.

We both blushed a lot. "Wait! Whoa, whoa, whoa!" said Grug. He got us both up and pushed Guy away from me. "Whoa," he said a bit threateningly stepping towards Guy. I mentally rolled my eyes. "Well, glad she's okay, I'm okay too," he said. Gran came up to us pushing Grug out the way. "Oh. These shoes are amazing. Where do you get all these ideas?!" she asked. "Aha!" Guy ran over to a rock and we all followed him while Belt outlined Guy's and Thunk's body.

"I'm calling it a brain, I'm pretty sure that's where all my ideas come from," said Guy pointing to the brain Belt drew with a smiley face. "So same with Rose huh?" questioned Ugga. Guy nodded with me. "Dad, I don't have a brain," stated Thunk sadly touching his outline on the rock. "We've gotten along fine without ideas. Cavemen don't need brains cause we have these! Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!" he said punching the air. I mimicked him knowing he said the same thing to me a couple of times before when I suggested some ideas. He accepted VERY few to none of them because they were "new." Whatever.

Anyways, Guy laughed at me and I smiled at him. "Ideas are for weaklings! Now, let's get to that mountain!" said Grug. He walked off weirdly because of the shoes and everyone else followed.

We began the rest of our journey.

"I love your shoes!"

"Good fish, don't eat my feet!"

So as you can see, I definitely decided to change this part up a bit. I honestly like the changes.
