So, I don't know what to have Rose call Ugga and Grug so, we're gonna continue having her use their names.

Suggestions anyone?

If not, enjoy the chapter!

By the time we got home, it was morning. I kicked a rock in anger. "Hmph!" It hit the wall then came back towards us behind me. "Hey!" said Grug ducking from it. We walked for some more until we came to the rest of the family. "Rose!" said Ugga. She came up to me and checked me for injuries. "Grug! What happened?" she asked.

"You know what, I'm so mad at her that I can't talk to her," said Grug. "Rose..." threatened Ugga. "You'll never believe it, I found something new!" I said happily. "New?!" said everyone. They made a circle around me, now scared, and Sandy growled. "New's a problem!" declared Grug then him and Ugga picked up a rock. "Wait! Wait!" I tried to stop them but it didn't work. "Rose, stay inside the family kill circle," demanded Ugga. "It wasn't bad," I tried to defend. "New is always bad," retorted Grug. "No, he was nice," I said back. "What? Excuse me? He?!" asked Grug mad. "Yes, well, I- I thought it was a warthog but it turned into a boy," I said dreamily while twisting my hair.

"Strange. Usually it's the reverse," said Gran. "Rose got a boy hog, Rose got a boy hog-ow!" I hit Thunk with my elbow on his face while rolling my eyes. "There was a boy. Watch, I'm gonna call him," I took the shell out and they all scrambled from me and watched me, scared. I blew it for a minute until Grug hit it out my hand/mouth and they all jumped on it destroying it. I watched them in total despair. Sandy threw a rock at the broken up shell on the ground with a grunt breaking it even more. I got down and picked up a few broken pieces looking at them sadly until it turned into anger.

"What is wrong with you people?!" I asked raging. "It was dangerous," stated Grug. "It was beautiful! I know what to take and not to take from others! Since you want to see dangerous, here!" I threw a piece of the shell and it hit Thunk. "Ouch my sniffer," he said complaining. Ugga looked at me disappointed. "That's it Rose, we're going back to the cave and you're gonna stay in there until you're older than uh... uh... heh.. you know... her!" He jumped at Gran making her be surprised.

"WHAT?! You can't do that! You're not even my real dad! Ah!!!" I picked up and rock and threw it in anger while shouting and flailing my arms. I panted. We heard a noise and the ground shook. My eyes widened a bit and I was still from shock. "He said this would happen..." Everyone looked at me.

I looked beneath me and the ground cracked. Stuff started to break and fall. "Get to the cave! Go!" Grug. Everyone dashed off running towards the cave. Thunk had got stuck but I helped him and we all ran still again. All of a sudden everyone tripped and Grug came up to us and we all huddled together and shielded each other from the dust and debris.

-After a bit-

I shook some of the dirt off me and coughed just like everyone else did. "Is everyone okay?" asked Grug. Sandy shook. "Grug... the cave..." We all looked to see the cave gone. Grug walked up to the spot where our cave used to be and it was truly only broken rocks. He sighed. We all came up to him. Ugga put her hand on his shoulder while I looked at him a bit sadly. I then saw a light and went up to it. I gasped seeing what was in front of me. "You've got to come see this..."

Everyone came up to me and we looked at the new landscape ahead of us. "We should go there!" I said jumping straight to it but Grug stopped me. "No!" A turtle bird flew by us then away. "What else did that boy say?" Grug asked me. I just looked at him. We heard a noise then looked back to see a bear owl. "Ah!" Grug put a rock in front of us, the bear owl moved it but we were already climbing the rocks running away. It came after us. "Grug?" asked Ugga. "Just go. Go!Go!" he grabbed all of us and we all fell. "Aaahh!!!"

We all landed on the ground. Sandy let out a joyful yell then ran up to Grug jumping onto his stomach. He sat up and began to count everyone. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5...." Grug smiled. Gran landed. "Ah!" He sighed. "Six."

"Where are we?" asked Gran dizzily. "I don't know," responded Grug. There was a rustle. I got up and looked around. "Sandy... what is it?" asked Ugga. Sandy jumped in the bushes. "Wait. No!" said Grug. He pulled Sandy out the bush and she had a elephant mouse in her mouth. "Ew!" Grug flicked the animal out her mouth. It blew its trunk at us, mad, then more came out the bushes making me cringe in disgust and back up but Sandy laughed while Grug held her. "We can't be out in the open like this, we need a cave." Sandy crawled onto his back. "Now, step where I step," he said carefully. I shook my head. We followed him. "Hopefully, nothing big knows we're here yet," he said.

"Wait, okay, wait, okay, wait, okay." We all slid down this tree. "Wait, okay."

-Later-

We were still walking through this unknown land looking for a cave. "Um, so, Dad... dad, just to be clear, are we looking for like the exact same cave? I mean- okay, if it was me- just throwing this out there- if it was me choosing the cave..." said Thunk. We both heard hissing and turned around to see what it was but saw nothing. "I would go with a smaller cave," suggested Thunk.

"Or no cave at all," I mumbled.
