Chase was swimming.
The thunder had had dispersed.
And, as the weather warmed up, he got undressed and swam in his new red shorts.
As he bypassed the old bridge that was near the ancient barn, he saw the others going about fixing the camp up.
He ignored them, and continued swimming.

Chase was alone.
He didn't mind that.
There was something about being free.
Everyone was in a rush...and, as kicked his feet, he saw a light in the woods. His eyes squinted, as he saw a dark shadow.
It was Jason Voorhees.
His hockey mask gleamed in the sun.
And, as he held the machete in his right hand, he disappeared like a ghost.
And he screamed with terror.
