Chapter Five: Sheriff's call

SHERIFF VALBERT, JR'S OFFICE,

MIDDAY

Sheriff Valbert, Jr., was alive.

     Noone knew how he had lived.

     But he did survive.

     Jason Voorhees did cut him horribly.

      Then, as the year passed, he knew that he'd had a year to go before retirement.

       Suddenly the phone rang.

       "Sheriff Valbert!", he said.

        "Sheriff, this is Lane. Sheriff, I'm at Camp Blood with a girl. Her boyfriend's been killed by Jason Voorhees. I think the new campers and counsellors are in deep trouble. Can you send some cops out to help us?" Lane asked.

        "If this is a jo..." Sheriff Valbert, Jr., begun before the stress of hearing Jason Voorhees's name came back to put pressure on his bad heart.

         He then collapsed on the ground and died from a massive heart attack.

"Sheriff!" Lane said.

           He called 911 and asked for the Paramedics.

            "This is Lane. I'm calling to need the Ambulance. I think Sheriff Valbert's dead. Heart attack! PLEASE SEND SOMEONE TO HIS OFFICE! Yes...And...Hurry!", Lane yelled.

            Kelly heard everything.

             Lane pressed the END CALL button.

             "What're we gonna do, Lane?", Kelly asked.

               "We kill Jason Voorhees. But we need help" Lane answered, as they both attempted to recover their lost nerves, as they knew that the only person who could help them was now dead.
