"I just don't understand what about them makes you so nervous? You seemed pretty contempt when you were kicking Grayson ass at Mario Kart."
"I don't know. And that was also embarrassing, he probably thinks I'm a dork now."
"I heard from a little birdie that he thinks you're cute." Emma said, taking a sip of her coffee. I looked up from my pasta and stared at her, feeling the blush creeping up on my face.
"No you didn't." I said, looking back down at my food. "Why would he think I'm cute?"
"Because you are." Em said, poking me with her fork.

"I mean, I could text him right now and ask him." She said, reaching for her phone.
"No." I said, grabbing her phone before she could. "You're going to make me sound desperate."
"How long has it been since that ass wipe cheated on you?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
"Like a year and a half." I sighed.
"Exactly, I'm just trying to help you out here Mads." I rolled my eyes before putting her phone in her out stretched hand.
"Do whatever you want but I know what his answer is going to be." I said taking another bite. "We never really have conversations outside of when the four of us hang out together."
