After watching my sister cry her eyes out and fall asleep in my bed, I sighed and called my mom.

"So I'm guessing you're wanting her to stay here the whole time?"
"Please don't lecture me on how this makes me a bad mom."
"I wasn't going to." I said walking downstairs and sitting on the couch. "But don't you think you'd be the better option for her to be with during this?"
"Why? Because I was her age when I had you?"
"Not what I was implying, I mean because you have three kids and I have none."
"Listen. It's better for everyone involved if she stays there."
"Okay. But it's July. What about school when August comes around?"
"I guess I'll get her signed up for online school, you'll just have to keep her on it."
"Doctors appointments?"
"I'll set them up and pay for them, you just take her to them?"
"And you really think that me, and almost 20 year old, is the best option for a pregnant 15 year old to live with?"
"Madison. After everything we've talked about as a family, after everything that me and you have talked about just us, yes. I do believe that it's better for her to be there with you. She's going to be better off in a big city where no one knows who she is than she is in a small town where she'll be known as the girl following in her whorish mothers footsteps."
"You're not a whore mom." I said. "And don't worry about paying for the doctors appointments, I'll handle them. I know you've got Myles' college to worry about."
"Make her do chores or something to make up for it."
"Oh you best believe she's going to be lifting her weight around here."

There was a knock on my front door and I sighed, really hoping it wasn't someone one else showing up on my doorstep after running away from home. I can only take so much in one day.

"Alright mom. Someone's knocking on the door, I have to go. I'll call you later."
"Alright. Bye."

I laid my phone on the couch and walked to the front door, opening it enough to see who was outside. It was Grayson.

"Umm hi." I said, opening the door all the way to let him in.

"You forgot, didn't you?" He asked, walking into the living room.

"Of course not." I lied. "What is it that I didn't forget?"

"You were going to go buy the stuff to paint your office and I was going to help you put together a new desk." He said, plopping on the couch. "Any is this ringing a bell?"

"Sorry, I've had an eventful past 12 hours." I said, sitting in the recliner with my knees in my chest.

"Did you want to reschedule?" He asked.

"Actually no, I just have to do something first." I said. "Give me a second."

"What are you doing?" He asked, looking at me staring of into space.

"Rearranging stuff in my head. Be quiet."

"Why are you rearran-"

"Sissy?" We both turned around to look at Melody standing at the bottom of the stairs, tear stains still on her face.

"Yeah Mel?"

"Am I still dreaming or is there a Dolan twin sitting on your couch?"

"Melody this is Grayson, Grayson this my little sister melody." I said, kind of doing an introduction. "And long story short she lives with me now."

"So you have to make your office into a room for her now?" He asked, picking up on what I was doing earlier.

"Yeah, but I've also got to figure out a place for me to get work done and for her to get school work done once she gets signed up online."
