3. Meeting My Boyfriends Roommate

Dianne's POV

Yawning and stretching, as my alarm blared through the speakers of my phone, I groan as I roll over to turn it off.

Today, I am meeting Joe and Ambar. But first, work.

After having a quick shower, I blow dry my hair, and put on my outfit.

Before making my way into the kitchen, and have a quick breakfast.

"1.2.3.Step." Amy was teaching me a new dance today, and it was really difficult. But, I knew I'd get it. "and change, left, right, left left right. And finish." Amy said, as I drank some of my water.
"I'm finally getting it." I laugh.
"You're really talented Dianne, don't put yourself down hun, " Amy smiles. "just a bit more practice then you'll be even more amazing."
"Thanks Ames." I smile.

"Right we're finished for the day, go and get ready for your double date. And I'll see you tomorrow." I nod, hug her. Amy was staying back a little later, then staying at Ben's.

I head back home. I was really sweaty, so decided on a nice relaxing bath.

Once out the bath, Caspar text me letting me know what time he was picking me up.
I smile, texting him back letting him know I'm getting ready and I'll see him later.

Fixing my hair, I run my hand down my outfit, making sure I was happy with it.

Adding my denim jacket and black peep toe shoes, I was ready to go. But why was I nervous!?
I guess Joe is Caspar's best friend, and I want to get on with him, and hope he likes me.

"Baba, you don't need to be nervous." Caspar smiles, I love my nickname he gave me.
"I guess I just want to make a really good first impression, and he's your best friend Casp. I want him to like me." I admit.
"He'll love ya, don't worry babe." I nod, placing a kiss on his lips.

Walking into the restaurant, I see a young boy, with a stunning blonde. He's got his arm around her, and he's pulling a funny face, which caused her to laugh.

They look so cute together. I'm guessing it's Joe, he has a massive smile on his face.

Caspar coughs, Joe and Ambar both turn around, as they both blush.
I look at the stunning blonde stood, smiling at me,

And introduce myself.

"Hi I'm Dianne," I smile, she smiles and pulls me in for a hug. "pleasure to meet you."

"Hi I'm Ambar," She smiles. "and this is my boyfriend, Joe."
"Joe, this is my girlfriend, Dianne." Caspar smiles proudly.

"Pleasure to meet you both. I'm Dianne." I smile at Joe and Ambar.
"Hi Dianne, lovely to meet you, too." Joe smiles.

"You did not." I laugh along with Ambar. We were laughing at Joe and Caspar's latest prank war.
"Babe, honestly, I had no idea. Joe is too good." I giggle.
"Joe, you are brutal." I laugh.
"Haha, thanks. Caspar always tries to outdo me, but he can't quite manage." Joe chuckles.

God he is hilarious, I think we'll get on really well.
"Have you put the video up yet, babe?" Ambar asks Joe.
"No not yet, it'll probably go up tomorrow." Joe says.
"Right, I'm definitely watching it." I giggle.
"Babe!" Caspar jokingly gasps.
"C'mon Casp, it'll be funny. And I'll probably help you with your revenge." I say, smirking at Joe.
"You're on." I high five him.
"Ugh great, two against one," Joe jokes. "babe?" He turns to Ambar.
"Sorry babe, not my thing." Joe looks so upset when she said that, it actually broke my heart a little. I felt sorry for him, so I said,
"Hey Joe it's fine. I'll help you to plan a really good prank on Caspar." I say. He perks up a little, causing a glare from Ambar. I shrugged her off, as we continued to chat some more.

I really like Joe. He's such a funny, and sweet guy.
I dont dislike Ambar, I think she's just a bit reserved. But it's fine, I'll continue to talk to her, and hopefully make her see that I'm not a threat, and that I'm not after Joe.
She seems like she's a really sweet person, I just need to get to know her better.

But, overall, today had gone pretty good.

Bring on our prank revenge to Joe.
