It was two weeks later, and we were adjusting quite well with a newborn.
Today however he seemed to be really unsettled, and Dianne was shattered.
"Di let me take him for a bit. Why don't you go back to sleep?" I say, she nods. I take Teddy from her. She bursts into tears. "hey, what's wrong?" I comfort, rubbing her back with my spare arm. "He hates me. He actually hates me." Dianne cries. "No he doesn't, he loves you." I say. "Yeah but he stopped crying as soon as you held him, he hates me." She sighs, tears in her eyes. "Baby, he loves you. It's probably because you smell like food, and he can sense it. He's not hungry yet, but he'll be able to sense it on you. Baby, don't put yourself down. You're an incredible mother okay?" I say, meaning every single word. "Do you mean that?" She asks. I wipe her tears away with my sleeve, and smile. "Of course I do. You are an amazing Mum. He knows it. I know it. And you know it deep down." I say. "I guess I'm just tired." Dianne says. "Let me take him out for the day, the lads are dying to meet him. You can sleep all day, okay?" She nods. I hadn't seen the lads in two weeks, so we're going out for lunch. "Thanks Joe. I don't think I could do this without you." Dianne says. "You could because you're amazing. But, I'm not going anywhere," I say, placing a kiss on her forehead. "now, you go back up to bed. I'll get him settled, and I'll bring you some breakfast up." I say. She nods, smiling as she places a kiss on Teddy's head. He let out a little smile. "Aw he does love me." Dianne smiles. "Of course he does," I beam. "who doesn't?" I cheekily say. She laughs making her way back upstairs.

"Come on bud, you got to help me out a little here." I chuckle, trying to change his nappy as he wriggles, and cries.
I was currently waiting for the lads to arrive, and I was changing Teddy in the toilets. "There all done." I say, as I pick him up, place him back into his car seat, as I head out to wait for the lads.
"Whey!" Jack says, as I shush him. "Dude. I've just got him to sleep." I scowled quietly.
"Sorry," Jack whispers, leaning over to see him. "mate, he's one handsome baby." "I know." I grin proudly.
''So Joe, what's it like being a Dad?'' Caspar asks.
''Mate honestly, it's amazing.'' I smile, looking down at Ted asleep.
''Who would have thought you'd be the first out of us to have a baby?'' Mikey said.
''I know. It's crazy.'' I say, just as Teddy starts to cries. I take him out of him of his car seat, and pick him up. ''hey, its alright bud.'' I soothe, rubbing his back. He continued to cry. I get out one of his bottle that Dianne had expressed. ''you hungry bud?'' I lay him down in my arms, and start to feed him.
''Your a natural Joe.'' Byron smiles.
''Thanks mate.'' I say, burping Teddy.
Seeing the lads with Teddy was strange. Strange for me, as I always thought I'd be the last to have a child. But in this case, I was the first.

I had left the lads, but headed to the park with Teddy. I thought Dianne deserved a little longer on her own.
Teddy had fallen asleep as soon as I put him back into the car.
Pulling up back home, I carefully got Teddy out of the car. I didn't want to move him, as I knew there was a chance he would wake up. So, I laid on the sofa with him. He was laid on my chest. I could feel my eyes getting heavy, with one hand placed gently on Teddy, I snuggled further down, and shut my eyes.
Dianne's POV
I heard Joe come back in, so after I'd had my bath I headed downstairs.
Smiling at the sight in front of me, I took a picture and uploaded it to Instagram with the caption:

Looks like these two have had a tiring day.
Teddy has certainly warn ol' Joseph out.
But, look at my two boys!
