Theodore was now six months old. I couldn't believe how quickly that's come round. He's a right little character.

Joe had gone back to work after two weeks, he was currently in a meeting. So, I had Teddy on my own.

We had slowly weaned Teddy off of his milk, and were starting to mush up adult food for him.

Hearing an almighty, piercing cry I shoot out of bed, and run into Teddy's room. I pick him up and rock him back and forth. "Hey, shhhh. It's okay baby, " I say rubbing his back. "what's wrong sweetie?" I ask. He really wouldn't settle.

He didn't need changing. He threw his dinner all over the floor, and he wasn't tired.
What else could it be? Oh! I go to open his mouth to see he's got two teeth coming through. "That's why you're so unsettled baba." I sigh.

I had no teething gel, so got his pushchair, put him in and walked to the shops with him.

It seemed to settle him though because he fell asleep. "Oh I'm so sorry." I hear someone say as I'm knocked into.
"Oh it's fine, I was in my own little world." I giggle. I look up to see a beautiful blonde haired young woman.
"He's adorable." She smiles, leaning her head into his pushchair.
"Thank you." I smile.
"You're Dianne Buswell aren't you?" I nod.
"Yes." I say a little taken a back.
"Oh I'm an actress. On Emmerdale. I'm massive fan of yours." She smiles.
"Thank you," I smile. "sorry, what was your name?"
"Gemma. Gemma Atkinson."
"Oh yes, I know you. You're so talented. Isn't your boyfriend a professional on Strictly come dancing? Gorka is it?" I ask.
"Thanks so much. And yes, he is." She smiles.

Gemma and I got chatting. She was lovely and we got on really well.
She held Teddy once I'd settled him and gave him his teething toy, and gel.

"He is Joe's double." Gemma laughs.
"I know, Joe always jokes about it. But I love the fact he is his double." I smile, looking at my son in his pushchair.

I tickle him, making his gorgeous, infectious laugh echo through the park

I tickle him, making his gorgeous, infectious laugh echo through the park.
"I've really got to go," Gemma said looking at her watch. "but it's been lovely meeting you, and chatting to you. We should double date?" I nod.
"Definitely, I'd like that." I say, hugging her and smiling.
"Bye Di. Bye Teddy." She blows him a kiss.
"Ted, blow kisses." He gets his hand and blows her a kiss.
"Aww. Thank you, Ted," She smiles "I'll text you." I nod, as I make my way home.

"Honey I'm home." Joe jokes walking through the door.
"Hey, how was your day?" I ask, as he places a kiss on my lips.
"It was good. A long day, but it was good." He smiles.
"Did you get your project sorted?" I ask, knowing how excited he'd be.
"Yes, and I can't wait," He grins. "how's Ted? You said he's teething?"
"He's fine. I've got him some gel, and a few teething toys. And he seems to be settled. He's happy, just a little unsettled now and again," I say. Teddy was asleep in his swing currently as he wouldn't leave my side. "hasn't left my side all day." I say.
"Awww. Poor Ted,"Joe pouts." but at least he's okay now. And he's a Mummy's boy, so he won't leave your side." He chuckles.

I laugh.

"Joe? Come here quick." I yell, hearing Joe's footsteps run down the stairs.
"Is everyt-" He pauses. "oh my god." Joe says, covering his hand with his mouth.
"I know." I grin.
"He's crawling," Joe says. "he's actually crawling Di."
He crawls to Joe, with the biggest smile on his face, laughing too.
"Good job, buddy! I'm so proud of you."Joe picks him up and spins him round. Before throwing him in the air, which Teddy loves, before catching him again.

" My clever little boy

" My clever little boy."Joe beams.
"I know. He's so grown up," I sigh.
"Hey, what is it?" Joe asks.
"Im fine. It's just, I wish he didn't grow up so quickly. I miss him being little. And," I pause.
"And what Di?" Joe asks.
I say quietly, "I want another baby."
"Sorry? I couldn't hear you. What did you say?"
I move closer to Joe, grabbing his hands. "Joe I want another baby." I say, gazing into his eyes.
Joe smiles, interlocking my fingers with his. He pulls me closer, and kisses my forehead.
"Do you really?" I nod "I do, too." Joe smiles.
"Really?" I ask smiling.
"Yes. We both know we don't want a massive age gap between Theodore and any others. So, now is the best time to try again." He finishes. I smile.
"Are you sure?"
"Baby, I'm sure. 100%," He smiles. "I'm ready for another one."

I couldn't contain my emotions. "I guess we're doing this then." I grin.
"We are. We're getting Teddy a sibling." Joe smiles.

What a great day today has been.
