I awoke to a sharp pain hitting my stomach. I grip onto the side of the bed in pain. I'd never felt anything like this before.
"Alfie," I whisper, not being able to speak. Nothing. "Alfie," I try again. I grip his shoulder as the pain gets worse. "Zo, are you alright?" Alfie asks now awake. I shake my head. "No, I'm in pain and I've no idea what it is." I say, feeling the urge to run to the toilet.
I run to the toilet, collapsing on the floor in pain. ''ALFIE.'' I shout, he comes running into bathroom. I suddenly felt the urge to push. ''I need to push.'' I say.
''Push? What?'' He looks at me. I grip his hand.
''C-call a-n a-ambulance.'' I stutter, the pain becoming unbearable.
Joe's POV
''Joe, stop it,'' Dianne giggles as I'm kissing her neck. ''it tickles.''
Suddenly my phone rings, I sigh, going to answer it. It was Alfie. Alright, mate?
Zoe, in labour. Is all I can hear. I can hear Zoe's screams.
What? Alf. Slow down. I say.what did you say?
Zoe is in labour, right now. In our bathroom.

My heart is racing. I pass Dianne the phone. I had him on speaker so Dianne could hear. Alfie, you need to keep her calm. As for the baby, keep them warm. Have you got a blanket?
