34. Honeymoon Part One

Joe's POV

I awoke the next morning with my wife's arms wrapped around my chest, and my hand placed protectively around her small bump.
I smiled as I looked at my wedding ring. Yesterday felt so surreal, it was amazing. I actually couldn't believe I was married, and to the love of my life.

I'd managed to get our honeymoon booked for the day after our wedding, but kept it a surprise for Dianne. She had no idea where we were going, and I planned on keeping it that way until we get on the flight.

Mum was minding Theodore and Esme for us. For two weeks. Two weeks of sunshine, rest and relaxation. I couldn't wait.

Quietly getting out of the hotel bedroom, I make my way into the bathroom, running myself a nice bubble bath. Letting Dianne sleep. This pregnancy has taken its toll on her quicker than the first two, and she's knackered more bless her. So I decided I'd let her sleep a little longer, before we head for the airport.

After I'd had my bath, I walk into the bedroom to see Dianne stirring. Rubbing her eyes, she sits up. "Oh morning, Joey. I didnt know you were up," Dianne smiles as I walk over to her, and wrap my arms around her. "how did you sleep my gorgeous husband?" She smiles.
"I slept amazingly. How about you, my beautiful wife?" I grin.

"I slept really well. Especially since my perfect husband was next to me." She beams.
I just grin. "Right Mrs. Sugg, we need to get ready to go to the airport." I wink.
"That's really going to take some getting used to." Dianne smiles, getting dressed.
"I'll just have to keep calling you it, until you get sick of it." I joke.
"I'll never get sick of being called Dianne Sugg." She smiles.
"Good." I rub my nose against hers as she gets on her tiptoes and kisses me.

We were now in the airport about to board our flight, I'd made Dianne wear headphones so she couldn't hear anything as it would ruin the surprise.
"Okay Di, you can take your headphones out now." I shout, as I take one headphone pod out.
"Are you going to tell me now?" Dianne asks, with a smile on her face.
"Yes. We are going to...." I pause doing a drumroll. "Santorini in Greece."
"Oh my god. Joe." She smiles.
"Good surprise?" I ask.
"Amazing. Thank you." She rests her head on my shoulder, as we start to board the plane.

Once we'd landed in Greece, we got a taxi to the hotel, and I knew Dianne would love it. It was right on the beach, the views were incredible.
"Here you go, sir." The taxi driver spoke, as I handed him some money.
"Thank you, keep the change." I say getting Dianne's and I's bags out.

We headed up a few steps first, Dianne's face said it all when we reached the top. The rooms were apartments with our own pool, and overlooked the sea.
