🌸|| THE SEASON OF FALL

Nature imbued metallic tints,
Amber, brass and gold
don't ponder over the could have's
And let's not forever hold.

Autumnal zephyr gliding over,
a veil of dishevelled leaves
on yellow alleys
Brittle and rustling as they do,
Among the faded woods
the quiddity in the air
of rejuvenated mown hay
being catapulted by spirals of frolicking air
Crisp, cool and clear!
Each scenario;
evanescing the virescent mirth
Limned is an allegory
For every leaf that's been set off,
Await! await!
to breathe in
whiff of rebirth and renewal by the hearth.

Each tree is a veneer
of tacenda, untold
with earthy incense
to shed what's old,
And let's not forever hold.
