"I CALL SHOTGUN!" RUBY TURNER squealed, more hyper than any of the other turner family members at 7:45 in the morning.

"darn it," johnny snapped his fingers jokingly, "now i have to sit by... kenzie," he cringed.

the brown haired girl smacked his chest gently. nadia spoke up, "poor kenzie."

"i know. who would wanna sit by johnny? he smells like a butthole," she laughed at her own choice of words.

"no i don't!" he pouted, "i smell like six dollar drug store cologne." the three climbed in the back seat, kenzie in the middle, while ruby and natalie climbed in the front.

mackenzie sniffed him, going along with the conversation. "you smell like ruby's twelve dollar bath and body works perfume; which actually smells really good."

"i sprayed your jacket with my perfume because it smelled like a dog," ruby explained bluntly, applying lipgloss in the tiny mirror. kenzie and nadia laughed at their younger sister, while johnny shook his head (grinning, of course. he could never be mad at ruby.

"alright," the judge smiled at mackenzie. she was a short old woman, very skinny with wrinkly skin, and a gray bob. kenzie didn't think she looked fit for the 'judge' title, as her eyes and smile were soft, and it looked like she couldn't be even semi-aggressive. "i'm going to make this as dramatic as possible. well, unless you just want me to get it over with," she smiled.

"either way works," kenzie shrugged, happy either way because she was going to truly feel apart of her new family.

"dramatic it is," the woman winked. she moved kenzie's sisters, mother, and johnny, to the side, making a gap between them, and standing in it. putting her hand on kenzie's shoulder, she said, "i hereby announce you... the turners. you may now hug your family."

"the turners, and johnny," ruby pointed out, being squished in the middle of the group hug.

"oh, i can't help it. you guys are a beautiful family," the judge joined in on the hug.
