'Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry right now. Just get changed and go on with the day.' Sienna mentally coached herself as the tears seemed unstoppable at the moment.
No doubt that she would be bombarded with questions once she was walking to her desk. When the elevator stopped onto her floor, she inhaled before placing one step in front of the other.
She walked to her desk with a smaller bag with her work clothes from earlier and she walked by Ellie and Tim who were on their computers.
"Sienna? Where's Nick?" Tim questions.
"Who knows, Tim? It doesn't even matter because he's going to be gone again!" Sienna was having a full breakdown in the office right now and she could care less.
Ellie and Tim looked to each other before looking back at her and getting up to get close to her. "What do you mean?" Ellie inquired. With a sniff and the drying of some cascading tears, Sienna cried, "I don't know what I'm saying right now! I'm feeling so many emotions right now, and I just heard that he may have to do one more undercover op before officially joining. But I just got him back, and I'm just... grrrr! I'm frustrated! I'm sorry, it's probably best if I have some space right now." Sienna quickly shoots out just as she makes eye contact with Nick who just came from the stairs.
He mirrors the looks of concern both Ellie and Tim have on their faces as they try to question why she's in this state. He walks up to the two other agents as Sienna walks off.
"What happened?" Tim is the first to ask Nick. He just responds with a sigh. "I told her that I may have to go undercover again once more before joining you guys." Nick puts simply. "Where'd Sienna go?" He questions both of them as he looks around for her.
"You should, uh, leave her alone for now. She's having a breakdown right now and she just needs time to let everything out like last time. She'll be okay soon." Ellie rambles while glancing to him every so often.
Nick looks around for any exits to get outside from the office. "Is there anyway to get to the balcony without taking any extra elevators or stairs?"
"Yeah, take that door in the back corner make a right and open the door straight down the hallway. Why are you asking?" McGee states but questions last second as soon as he sees Nick rush by them and goes for the door.
What Ellie and Tim don't know is that Nick helped Sienna out with her mental breakdowns in the past. They were aware that she doesn't gets them very often, but enough times to know what to do when she does get them. Back at FLETC, Sienna and Nick would always talk to each other late at night over text and he would help her out whether she needs to vent about something. He would listen and offer his opinion when need be or he would do the talking to distract her. But either way, he was always there for her.
What she said in the car earlier stuck to Nick like a bad memory. 'A whole lot of shit has happened in the past eight years where you weren't part of my life.' Nick couldn't help but think, 'what has happened to her?'
