Sirius's POV
The next day I woke up willingly thinking about the night before.
After Ms potter had told us to stay out I was really surprised she actually left us, believing that we'd seriously stay in one spot.
She was quite off in that prediction, because right off the bat we all ran after Mr potter...' Mrs Potter sucked in a breath she'd obviously been holding In before pulling out her phone and running after him, telling us to stay where we were.
We waited a few seconds before also bolting after them, worry etched into our faces as we ran of of our adrenaline. It took us a while to catch them but once we did the Potter's didn't argue, the only thing that mattered in the moment was how much blood was still in remus's body.
unfortunately, there wasn't much left.
and the hospital ended up asking me to donate, which of course, i did.after they were done, they sent us all to sit in the waiting room, and that, is where the drama started.
"did you guys know?" Mr. potter asked diligently.
we all looked at each other, trying to silently agree on who was going to tell.
in the end it was james."yes, we all did." he answered.
"then why didnt you tell us? we could hve helped!" ms potter exclamed."we didn't know what your reaction would be to a werewolf going to Hogwarts..."
i said intervening.
Ms potter scrunched up her face in thought, "the only way you could have known would be if you had tried, and you didn't even give us a chance to react." she stated firmly, her husband remaining quietly by her side.
"look, mom, we just did it because Remus wasn't ready to say anything." James bit.
Ms potter then slumped back into the uncomfortable hospital chair and closed her eyes, obviously trying to ovoid the oncoming headace. After that little talk we all went silent for a while.
Remus's parents had come and gone, and will most likely be gone for a while now considering almost all of us attacked them as soon as they walked through the hospital doors.
Though they hadn't shown any sign of harm, his mom had written him a letter.
And the way she had twisted her face to the left slightly while writing it gave me a bad feeling a dread that was slowly pooling all of our stomachs.
Watching as Ms Lupin did a loop at the end of her name yesterday was one of the strangest things I've ever experienced, but it didn't stop me from worrying about Remus.Right now, all we could think of was Remus.
Sadly, right now we were all back at the Potters house for the night.
We had just woken up and we were going to head down for breakfast before I screamed on the spot and jumped seven feet in the air.
"What what's wrong?!?" James shouted.
"THE EXAMS ARE COMING UP!!" I screamed with as much force as I possibly could. We all stoped on the stair case and stared at one another. No one dared to move as we calculated what that meant.
Remus... was going to hate us."What do you expect us to DO?!?" James screeched, his face going pale at the thought of breaking the news to Remus, "Can you imagine? 'Oh ya, Moony? forgot to mention that as soon as we get back to Hogwarts we have a giant exam coming, you weren't in class for that, and we were told to tell you, but we're huge prats and don't know how to do anything right!'"
Peter raised his head slowly, "I don't think we have to worry about that. They'll definitely give Remus time to recover before pushing school on him."
Sirius stoped in his frantic movements and thought for a second.
"Oh. Right. Forgot about that." He sighed under his breath. We soon, after an embarrassing moment of silence, made our way out of the stairs and had our breakfast.
Then we went to the hospital only to learn that Remus was in the exact same state as the day before and we weren't aloud to talk to him.
After that we went home and spent the entire day mopping around depressingly. That night I decided to write a letter, Lilly, surprisingly, was good friends with Remus and would be wanting to know what was happening.
So I told her,'Dear Lilly, I'm sorry to say this but I don't have good news.
Remus has a bad moon and was seriously injured.
I'm assuming that you know about Remus's furry little problem but I can't remember or care if he told you or not.
Point is, he's not well. Getting a prosthetic face soon and isn't responsive at the moment so don't you dare come down here.
He doesn't need that right now. He.... like i Sadi isn't well.
I'll keep you updated if you'd like? Send you letters and tell you about it at school since he probably won't be back for a while.
Hope your well, say hi to snivels, from yours truly, Sirius Black.'I then rolled it up and sent it on it's way.
I wasn't really sure that it was the right thing to do but it was done now and there was no going back.Just then James's mother called us for dinner and I went down to eat.
The fact that Moony wasn't going to be with us for a few months had settled in with everyone, and we were now counting the days.
But all we could hope for was a full recovery, and even that wasn't confirmed.End of chapter 21
Sorry I have not posted in literally so many months.
I've been really busy lately and just haven't thought of this at all!
I'm on vacation now so I should be able to get a chapter or two in the next week.
I hope you understand and thanks for being so patient!
Sorry for the short chapter.
