|Hope's POV|

"Hope, where are you going?" Tyler said as I was walking out the door.

"I'm gonna go check up on Jason." I shrug. "He just kinda ran off after we well, um, yeah." I blush furiously, causing Tyler to smirk.

"You know you liked it." he says and I shake my head back and forth quickly.

I stuck three of my fingers up in front of me and said, "Read between the lines, Tyler."

He gasped dramatically. "That's not very nice Hope." Adam states. I turn to him, my ring finger coming down slowly. Then finally my pointer finger comes down after, leaving my middle finger the last one standing.

"She's using bad sign language!" Mitch yells before I shut the door and make my way down the hall. I laugh to myself and shake my head. They're crazy.

When I made it to Jason's dorm, I knocked on the door hoping he would be in there.

Surprisingly, he opened the door and looked at the floor in front of me. "What." he said with a blank expression.

"Um, Jason? Are you all right?" I say, trying to snap him out of his trance.

He looked up at me and his glare softened. "Hope! Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I was expecting like, Adam or Tyler. Come in, come in."

He steps aside to let me in and I smile while sitting on one of the beds. "So, who's your roommate?" I ask.

"Ty." he replies. "And yours is Tyler..." he says, expression fading.

"Jason, do you have a problem with Tyler?"

"What? No! Of course not! He's one of my best friends. Why would I have a problem with him?" He rambles on, scratching the back of his neck.

"Then why did you run out after we-"

"I had to help Ty with some, uh, stuff." he cuts me off.

"With what?"

"We were helping Adam's roommate with-"

"Vincent?!" I exclaim. "Why in the world would you be helping him?"

"He needed help fixing his desk. One of the legs broke and the table collapsed." He scrunched his eyebrows together. "Have you met him before?"

"Oh yeah. We've met." I rolled my eyes.

"Um..."

"Jason, he tried to rape me." I said. Jason literally laughed at me. "I'm serious!"

"Hope, of all people, Vincent would not do anything like that. He's to innocent, too shy."

I was really pissed at Jason for not believing me. Him and Tyler were very different. Tyler at least almost seemed like he believed me. The way he would look Vincent up and down, sizing him up. Jason just needed some more convincing.

"Whatever, let's get off the topic." I scoff. "So, school starting soon, huh."

He raises his eyebrows. "Oh... Yeah."

"What? Why do you say it like that?" I question.

"Um, Hope. There was something we were supposed to tell you..."

"What?"

"You see-"

"Just tell me god dammit!"

He waits a moment, as if deciding how to say what he was about to say. "Well, the reason girls were at this school was to see if the guys could handle it." I nod as he talks. "Well, Riverbank decided that we could not handle girls here."
