The basement door opened and I turned to see a girl come down. She smiled at me with a small wave.

"Hi, I'm Lela." She said as I stood up. "I'm supposed to be helping you get ready now."

"I'm not really in the mood to go out." I admitted and she shrugged.

"I'm only following Cole's orders. He says you have to come." She replied and I let out a sigh.

I left everything as it is and grabbed my phone before going upstairs.

We went through the kitchen and then towards the stairs. I followed behind her as we went upstairs.

"All of your clothes and other things are in Cole's room. They were brought in last night." She said and led me towards a door. "Pick out an outfit and then come to the room at the other end of the hallway."

"What am I dressing up for?" I asked and she turned to me.

"We're going to a club." She replied and then walked away.

With a sigh, I turned to the door and knocked before opening it. Cole is lying on the bed, typing on a laptop.

Shutting the door behind me, I stepped further into the room while looking around.

His room is blank. No pictures, no colors, no unique designs. It looks boring. But knowing the kind of person he is, I didn't expect much anyway.

I went towards the closet and opened the door. Half of the closet has his clothes and shoes and the other side has mine. The closet is huge, so everything fits inside.

I began to look through my clothes, finding something to wear. If I could, I'd just wear pajamas.

Once I found an outfit, I grabbed heels to match with it and then made my way out of the room.

I went to the room at the end of the hall and knocked.

"Come in!" Lela called out and I opened the door, stepping inside. "Start on your hair and I'll do your makeup after."

"Okay." I replied and she smiled before turning around and finishing up her makeup.

I placed my things on her bed and walked towards her, turning the curling iron on.

"So, tell me about yourself." Lela said, looking at me through the mirror.

I stared back at her, wondering if I should try and get along with her. I know we just met, but she's been nothing but kind to me, and it wouldn't hurt to have someone to talk to sometimes.

But what if the kindness is just an act?

I'll give in. For now.

So, I began to tell Lela a little about myself as I curled my hair. She told me about herself and we just kept talking.

She isn't so bad. She kind of reminds me of Miley.
