CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Tina came into the living room and I let out a little sigh, wishing she stayed gone. I'm going to miss the days she wasn't here.

"You don't like her either?" Janet asked from beside me. Lela said that Janet used to be a maid, but she was useful to Cole many times so he let her join the gang. She was on a mission in Russia and she got back this morning, surprising all of them just like Mason had.

"Does anyone actually like her?" I muttered, keeping my eyes on my phone as I spoke.

"They'd be stupid to." Janet replied and I forced a small chuckle, wanting to drop the conversation.

"Janet, Ayla, are you guys coming?" Lela asked and I looked up to see her holding hands with Mason. Layla is with them and making fake gagging noises while pointing to the couple holding hands.

"I'm going to stay." I said as Janet got up.

"Do you want me to stay with you?" Layla asked and I shook my head, giving her a small smile.

"No, I'll be fine." I replied. I'll just go up to her room and lock myself in there so I don't have to stay with Tina.

"I'll bring you back something." Layla said before they left the house.

I waited a few minutes and then stood up, going towards the front door. I opened it and the guards turned back to me, making me shut the door.

Well, there's no chance I'll be able to leave with the guards around the house.

Sighing, I went upstairs and called Cole. He and Jason went to 'take care of some business' as Jason had said it. They'll be back tomorrow morning.

"I'm busy. What do you want?" Cole said once he answered.

"Fine." I mumbled and hung up, throwing my phone on the bed.

I only called to try and get some entertainment, but his moods annoy me and I'll find myself annoyed instead of entertained.

My phone rang and I looked to see Cole calling me. I ignored the call and went to the bathroom. I did my business, washed my hands and then walked out.

Maybe I should've gone out with the others. Now I'll be here all bored and alone. The only things that will entertain me is either annoying Tina or watching a movie.

I honestly don't feel like hearing Tina whine, so I'm going with the movie.

Leaving the room, I decided to go downstairs and find some snacks to have while watching a movie.

I made it to the middle of the stairs when I saw a man laying Tina's unconscious body on the ground. He looked up at me and I realized that it's Zach.

I turned around and ran upstairs. His footsteps were close behind and I quickly went to Cole's room. I tried to shut the door, but he put his foot through.

I put all my strength in pushing back the door when he tried to open it. Looking around the room, I remembered that Cole kept a gun under his side of the bed. I only know this because of the time I snooped around his room when he was out of the house.

I left the door and ran to Cole's side of the bed. Crouching down, I quickly pulled out the gun that was strapped to the wood under the bed and pointed it at Zach.
