Diamond Eyes!

She got my hand and dragged me out from there. "What?" I asked as soon she stopped walking. She looked up at me nervously. I smiled looking at her but she didn't. Something important? What is she going to say?

"Can I ask you something?" She asked with a smile. "Yes" I said and smiled back. She became silent again and that silence killed me. I started sweating thinking what she would say. But that's so stupid of me, why should I get tensed? I sighed and looked at her.

"Why are you being silent? Ask me" I voiced out to get her attention. She looked at me and smiled. "Will you help me to surprise Ram and Sha?" She asked with her dashing smile. Huff! "Ivlo thaana? Naan neraya edhir paarthen" I mumbled looking down.

"Huh?" She didn't hear what I said. "Sure" I said and grinned. She smiled excitedly and asked me come with her. I followed her and she told me her plan. I was surprised by her plan and just smiled at her.

"The weather is not so good from the afternoon" She said looking up at the sky. I didn't notice her as I was looking down with my smiling face. She hit my arm and that made me come back to the sense. I looked at her confused when she glared at me.

"Always daydreaming" She said and sighed. I was scratching my head with a sheepish smile. "Apdi enna thaan nee yosichutte irukka?" She asked with a wicked smile.  I struggled to reply but Thank God, she didn't mind that.

"Leave it. At least, have you heard the plan carefully?" She asked with her raised eyebrows. I nodded my head smilingly and she nodded too. "Actually where will be the engagement? Kerala or over here?" I asked. "It'll be Kochi of course" She said so excitedly and was smiling widely.

What's there to be excited this much? May be she loves the place! We felt the cold breeze starting to survive over there. The tiny rain drops started to hit on the ground.

Suddenly the whole area was raining heavily. I pulled her towards a sheltered area when the heavy rain started. The crowd started to rush here and there due to the heavy rain. The noise and the rush of the people brought a severe headache to me.

I was looking around bluntly but then I noticed Angelina smiling at me. I smiled as soon my eyes met her. She then turned away when I stood there smiling widely.

I pretended looking around whenever she turned to have a glance at me. But to be frank, I was sight adichufying her. She sighed and looked down for a moment. I was smiling at her but unfortunately she caught me.

She raised her eyebrows looking at me when I sheepishly smiled at her. The rain drops which fell on her face was like looking like pearls to me. Her pinkish lips looked so bright at this rainy time. I felt like pinching her nose as she was looking so cute.

She didn't turn away but kept staring at me. I don't know whether she was confused or being angry by my acts. I looked into her eyes deeply as it was trying to tell me something.

Suddenly we heard a ringtone and that distracted us. Quickly she turned towards the sky to check whether it's raining when I took out my phone to check the call status. It was from Ram. "Dei, ipo thaan kupduviya?" I mumbled and attended.

Me: Hello

He: Shopping over da. Enga irukanu sollu varen

Me: I'm in the hell. Are you willing to come?

He: Illa machan. You enjoy. Naan Sha va drop pannitu veetuku poren

Me: Dei, apo naan epdi da varuven?

He: Nee Angel kitta lift kettu vaada

Me: Machan, velayadatha

He ended the call. I sighed and looked at her. She was looking at the ground in a interested manner. "Angel" I called out. She slowly looked up at me. "They already left. Shall we move?" I asked with a smile.

She nodded her head silently and started walking. Oops! She was disturbed. She reached her scooter and started it. She looked up at me when I was looking at the ground. "Un bike enga?" She talked to me after a long time.

"Athu Ram eduthuttu poitan" I replied smilingly. "Vaa. Naan drop panren" She said looking at me. "Illa. Naan bus illa auto la poikuren" I said and smiled. "Ok, bye. Inime enkooda pesatha" She said and was about to move but I stopped her.

"Enna ma?" I asked, confused. "Pinna? Naan enna unna nadu road la thalli vidava poren? Enkooda vantha enna?" She asked angrily. "Ipo ethukku kova padura? Naan varen" I said smilingly.

She smiled and asked me to sit. "Naan drive panrene" I said and she just glared at me. Quickly I sat behind her and she smilingly started to ride. She rode a little faster but it was smooth too. I was directing her and she dropped me at my house.

"Thanks" I said as soon I got down. She stared at me angrily when I stood there with my baby face. "Naan enna unaku stranger ah?" She asked with her lifted eyebrows. I nodded my head side to side with my sad look.

"Aprom ethukku thanks ellam?" She asked and sighed. I smiled rubbing my neck. "Bye. Take care" She said and nodded. I nodded back at her smilingly. She smiled and started her ride towards her house.

I walked, no. Actually I ran inside my house so happily but stopped running noticing my parents talking about something seriously. I went and sat beside my sister who was watching TV.

"Ennachu?" I asked with a low tone. "Pesama poda" She replied to me. I sighed and hit her head. In return, she pinched my arm. Then we started our 11992th fight of this year. But we became silent when we heard a shout from both of our parents.

"Ram engagement epo?" My mom asked when I was seriously crunching the chips which I just snatched from my sister. "17th ma" I said and continued my work. But she didn't allow me.

"When should we move?" She asked. "Where?" I asked looking into the TV. "Engagement ku da" She said and that grabbed my attention. I was hell shocked. I thought only I'll be going. If my parents are there, surely I can't spend more time with Angelina. Think something and spoil the plan, Vicky.

"Ma, neenga vara vendaam. Naan mattum poitu vandharen" I said tensely. "That won't be right, Vicky. Ram's engagement da. Epdi naanga varama irukka mudiyum?" My dad asked sternly. I sighed and realized the truth. They should be there and Ram will be expecting them.

But he will understand me and my situation so no worries. I smiled myself when my parents glared at me. "The engagement won't be formal ma. Avan friends mattum kuptu trendy ah panlaam nu soldraan so it won't be right if you guys come there. Marriage epdiyum neenga thaan nadathanum. Aprom enna?" I asked but they weren't satisfied.

"But avan engala vara sonnane" My mom argued. "Avana ketta avan ungala avoid pannavum maataan so neengala purinju nadantha nalla irukum" I said and paused. I noticed their reactions and that was good. It's time to end the game. "Naan solliten. Ini neenga decide pannunga" I said and sighed.

"Intha neeye saapdu" I said and gave the chips bowl to my sister. She hit my hand but I just ignored it and walked towards my room. "Seri da. Naanga varala. Nee Ram kitta sollidu" My dad shouted at my back.

I smiled triumphantly and said ok to him. I locked my room and danced in happiness. I dialed to Ram and told him everything. He was angry and upset at first but then he accepted my idea. He happy, me happy and gonna make Angelina happy in this engagement.
