Marriage!?

I was ready when Ram was still sleeping. I tried to wake him up a lot but he didn't. I was already in tension and seeing him like that boiled up my anger. I took the jug and poured all the water in it on his face.

He woke up with a shout and looked at me totally confused. He started breathing heavily and wiped the water using his palm. I placed the jug on the table and walked towards the window. "Kolakaara, ennada prechana unaku?" He asked but I remained silently looking out at the yard.

"Enna ezhupittu anga yaarada sight adichuttu iruka?" He asked getting up from the bed. I turned and glared at him. "Moddittu poi ready aavuda" I said angrily and turned back. "Ok machan. Nee kovama irukka. Naan nee cool ah irukum pothu sanda poduren" He sid and went inside the washroom.

I sighed and sat on the bed with my phone. After sometime, we came back of the room after Ram was ready. We found both of them talking with Akshaya's parents. We went and had a with them for few minutes.

Then we started our ride towards some restaurant as only Angelina knows the location. She was driving the car, humming and she seems so excited. I was actually dying inside to know who will be that.

Angelina pressed the brake hardly using her feet. I turned around to find a brand new restaurant of that city. We got down when she went to park the car. We were waiting for her outside itself and she came after five minutes but I felt like 5 years.

We started the walk towards the entrance along with her. The interior designs amazed me and my mind was diverted somehow. She straightly took us to a reserved table.

We all took our seats and gave the orders. Ram was impatiently waiting for the food when I was waiting for him. I sighed looking at Ram's activities.

I was glancing at Angelina each and every minute. Suddenly her face brightened up and smiled looking at a direction. I turned around to find a classy man coming with a charming smile. I gasped a little looking at him.

He was looking too young but matured too. Angelina got up as soon he reached our table. She hugged him excitedly and he did that too. I was staring at them clueless when Ram wrapped his hand around my shoulder.

"Hey darling! Missed you a lot" He said pulling himself from her. She was about to answer smilingly but was cut off by him. "I need to tell you something. Come" He said and excused himself looking at us. Then he dragged her along with him.

I turned and stared at them for a moment. They two were talking about something so happily. Tears welled up in my eyes and I was about to cry but I controlled myself. Ram noticed that and quickly dragged me out before Akshaya could notice.

"Ennada?" He asked after reaching a place where Akshaya couldn't notice. Quickly I hugged him and started to tear silently. "Dei, ithellam over da" He said and pulled me.

"Bayama irukku da" I said looking at him sadly. "Ethukku?" He questioned confusedly. "Ava vanthu athu ava lover nu sonna naan epdi da react panrathu? Ennala thaanga mudiyathu da" I said and started to breathe heavily.

"Vicky, ava unkitta vanthu sonnala? Illa la? May be ava brother, friend apdi yaaravatha irukalaam la?" He asked and tried to console me. "Apdi illena?" I asked bluntly. "Apdi ellam onnum aagathu da. Vaa" He said and dragged me but I refused to go.

"Two minutes da" I said and sighed. He also stayed with me till I was able to control the tears and emotion. Then we went there and found Angelina and him together sitting over them. Ram patted at my shoulder and maintained a fake smile on my face.

We joined them and our orders were placed on the table. We all were silent and I wasn't able to tolerate that silence anymore as I was dying deep inside. I thought of speaking out but Angelina did before that.

"This is Ram bro and Akshaya" She voiced out pointing them. "And we're here for their engagement only" She added with a smile. "Oh. Hi and congrats" He said extending his hand for Ram. Ram did a handshake and mouthed a thanks to him. He just smiled at Akshaya and she did that too.

I know the situation is going to be worse as Angelina turned towards me. "And this is Vignesh, my friend" She said smilingly. "Hi Vignesh" He said and did a handshake with me too. "So do you all know me?" He asked looking at us and turned towards Angelina.

Angelina nodded her head side to side. "Why you didn't inform them, darling?" He asked to her and smiled. "Darling ah? Are you her boyfriend?" Akshaya asked with a smirk. Angelina glared at her when he nodded his head smilingly. "Yeah, I am" He replied with a wink.

That boiled up my anger. But no use of getting anger right now. He is too handsome and looks too stylish than me. Every girl would love to be with him but what I am? I don't deserve Angelina it seems.

Angelina just hit his shoulder and smiled when he chuckled. "Are you kidding us?" Ram asked calmly but he was also angry just like me. "No Ram. I'm serious about this" He said and smiled.

Angelina didn't react anything to that but talked out. "This is Michael, my cousin" She said and smiled. He just smiled and turned. Then again silence ruled the place. Everyone was maintaining pin drop silence but he started again.

"Darling, your dad asked me to come to Thrissur with you" He said casually. "Why now?" She asked bluntly. "To discuss about our marriage of course" He said and winked at her. I dropped the spoon down and looked at her with my shocked face.

She looked at me confusedly but I quickly looked down at my plate. "What's up with my dad? I told him not to do plan anything" She said and looked down disappointed. "Don't you want it now?" He asked.

"Do you want it now?" She asked with her raised eyebrows. "Yeah. I already finished my studies and ready to lead the company of my dad" He said with his bright smile. "What about me?" She asked angrily.

He laughed looking at her reaction. "I know that and I'm not going to marry you now. Just an engagement after that you take your own time and I would wait for you" He said and smiled humbly.

I smiled at him as I know he would be perfect for her. But tears started to flow down as I'm going to miss her in y life. I quickly wiped it off before someone could notice.

"Naan soltrathu correct thaana Vignesh?" He asked all of a sudden looking at me. I sat there like a statue not knowing how to reply or what should I reply. But Thank God, Ram interrupted. "How do you speak Tamil?" He asked with a serious look.

"I completed MBA in Chennai so nallave Tamil pesuven" He said and smiled at him. I sighed as he forgot that topic and carried on his work. After having the breakfast, we decided to leave the place.

We walked out and Michael bid a bye to us. "Kelamburiya?" Angelina asked to him. "I've some works in the company. Dad asked me to come earlier. I'll call you afterwards. Bye, take care" He said and hugged her smilingly.

He left the place in his car and we left the place too. I was driving the car silently when they were conversing. I was totally broken and wasn't able to smile even. My fate! What else to say? But I shouldn't leave this so easily. I'm going to ask her everything clearly tonight.
