Dust flew into the sky. The helicopter rose up slowly and its propellers spun around like crazy windmills. They followed the map inside the book, which led them to Mysette Creek, a river that was old, spooky and deserted.
After a while, they hopped off the used helicopter and landed in sloppy green mud and grass. The zombies hadn’t made it this far away yet. Toby lifted his foot and watched the slime drip off.
The group continued forward and pushed themselves through the thick, tall grass.
Jinx looked at the map again, “ahead of us should be a large lake…”
She was correct. They stumbled across a few rocks, and then a murky lake. To their surprise, stepping stones were built into the water. They increased in height and on the last step was a small box.
“I wonder why no one has taken the box yet,” Toby said.
