Pop Up Visit

After getting myself together for the day I woke up in some pain. I don't know if this is normal or not but it's most definitely not comfortable.

I took me some pain medicine and headed downstairs to get me something to eat. At this point I'm just ready for all of this to be over with. I have a dinner date tonight and I don't want to be all cranky and in pain when Daniel gets here.

I took my hamburger meat out the freezer and sat all my ingredients out by it. This is gonna be a relief with all that I'm dealing with.

I fixed me some cereals and sat down and watch The Golden Girls. As I finished my cereal my door opened and in comes Malik.

"Hey auntie."

"Hey TT baby. What you doing here?"

"Well I wanted to come by and see you after mama told me what was going on."

"I told your talking ass mama not to tell you what's going on."

"I know but you already know she can't hold water."

"And you are right about that."

"But enough about her. Are you ok?"

"Yes I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" Malik asked.

"Yes boy I'm fine. Stop asking me all those damn questions."

He laughed but had a uneasy look on his face.

"Come here Malik."

He came and sat next to me.

I put my arm around him and said "I'm fine ok. Don't be around here acting all sad and shit." I said.

"I'm fine."

Tears fell down his cheeks.

"Auntie I don't want to loose you."

"And you aren't."

I hugged him tight and slapped him across the head.

"I'm fine. Now go take this in the kitchen and fix yourself some breakfast."

He laughed and said "ok."

I flipped through the tv when my text message sound went off.

I rolled my eyes cause I already know who this was. I looked at my phone and sure enough it was Jarod.

Jarod:

Michelle:
Gm

Jarod:
Can I please come and see you? I didn't get no sleep last night.

Michelle:
And who problem is that?

Jarod:
So it's like that now?

Michelle:
Yep

Jarod:
I don't know you anymore. This ain't the same person I use to know.
