Blood Transfusion

I couldn't take it no more. I sent Malik back to his mom and went to the nurses station to ask the condition on Michelle.

"Excuse me ma'am. I would like to check on my girlfriends status."

"And what's your girlfriends name?"

"It's Michelle Carter."

"Give me one second. Let me check the status."

She went through the computer for a few seconds.

"From what I see she's still in surgery."

"Man are you serious? That was hours ago."

"I'm sorry that's all I see at the moment."

"Is there some way I can talk to a doctor?"

"I'm sorry Mr?"

"Jarod Smith." He replied quickly.

"Mr Smith. I'm sorry to tell you but there is no information that I can give you."

"Man come on. This is about to drive me nuts."

"I'm sorry sir. There's nothing I can tell you at the moment."

I slammed my hand on the desk and walked off. To calm down I went to go see my baby. Since I was at the hospital I can be with both of them.

As I got on the elevator, I put my hand on my head and took a deep breath. All of this is so aggravating and stressful.

I got out the elevator and went to my daughters room. She was sitting up in the bed talking to her mama. She looked like she was in a lot of pain.

I'm glad she's talking. When I walked in she looked at me and screamed.

"Daddy! You're here."

She screamed "ouch."

I ran to her.

"Are you ok baby?"

"Daddy it hurts." she said.

"I know it does. Do you want me to call the doc?"

"No daddy. I'm just glad you are here with me. I was scared daddy."

"I know baby girl."

Alexis was just sitting there looking at me crazy. I didn't say nothing to her cause I didn't want to argue in front of my baby.

The doctor walked in.

"Wow. She's sitting up now."

Kiyah got excited.
" Doctor, doctor, doctor. My daddy is here."

"I see he's here."

"I love my daddy and my mommy."Kiyah told the doctor.

"And they love you too Kiyah. That's why they need you to get better so you can go home with them."
