Remus entered his house and was instantly filled with the feeling of security. He heard voices from down the hall; he followed them to find his old friend and wife setting up his daughters furniture. Their jokes and conversation made it feel like old times. Remus entered the room to be greeted with a kiss from Rue, squeal from Rosalyn, whom was relaxing in his friend's arm. He looked to Sirius and shook his head at the same old boyish grin

"I not kissing you." He states; Remus rolled his eyes.

Rue was putting the final details to her daughter; she brushed her trousers off before picking her daughter up. The two men watched as she placed the halfway asleep baby down into the crib; Remus nodded for Sirius to leave. Rue shut the door behind them, and they went into the living room. They all relaxed as if nothing had even changed.

"She is very pretty." Sirius complimented , " Good thing she took after her mother more then her father. "

"Hey, Remus is very good looking. " Rue combatted

"Somebody has to think so. "

"Don't be mad because I found somebody to like me for my brains and not my maneuvers" Remus threw out; Sirius acted like he was hurt.

Rue laughed at the two men. She got comfortable in her husband's lap, laying her head on his shoulder. She merely sat back and listened to them talk about the past and the future. Her mind had finally set on the fact she wouldn't be going back to Hogwarts, but she had something more valuable. Rue Sangre Lupin had a home filled with love and support of a husband; a beautiful baby girl who will grow up in a home where she will always be loved. One good friend that gave them company during the hard times. Life was going to be hard, but she wasn't ever going to be alone.
