Remus tapped his foot anxiously as Madame Promfrey was checking his wife's vitals. They didn't bother to take her to the hospital wing, for they wanted her to be comfortable. The elder woman sighed, pulling the covers to hers shoulders and making sure her skin was warming up before exiting the room. Rosalyn had settled down into a fitful nap; her father held her to ease the discomfort of not understanding the commotion surrounding her young mind. Remus stood to await his answers.

"She is in shock. I gave her sleeping drought to ease the tension in her body. Just let her sleep it off, she will feel as if her body is heavy at first, but that is a side effect of the drought. "

"No marks? Nothing?" Remus's voice was full of mixed emotions.

"No, dear, she will be fine. Rosalyn is fine as well. Like I said sleep will be her friend right now."

Remus nodded, followed , and shut the door behind her. He finally calmed himself enough to lay his daughter in her bed; she was safely tucked in as well. The concerned father plopped down onto the couch, running his hands through his hair and rubbed his face. Now was a time would be nice to have a friend to lean on, it clicked to him. Remus pulled out the map.

His eyes scoured the moving inked names; he stopped when he saw Peter's name again and near Harry; as well as Ron walking with him. Remus was confused, but he continued his unknown search when he heard a heavy knocking. The door opened and Hagrid ducked under the door way. He stopped not to far from his fellow coworker.

"I found paw prints; large ones at that, Remus. They follow the path from the Whomping Willow to the Black Lake."

"Anything else? No articles of clothes or signs of Black?"

Hagrid seemed to look vacant at first but suddenly pulled something out of his pocket. Remus took it from his hand; his stormy eyes saw and everything instantly started to make sense when the sunlight gleamed across the small dog charm.

"It was embedded in one of the paw prints closer to the Willow" Hagrid added.

"Thank you, Hagrid. "

"Not a problem, friend. Need anything let me know. " With that he saw himself out.

Remus turned and went back to the map. His eyes instantly went to the Whomping Willow where he saw Sirius Black. He went back to Harry and Ron; Peter Pettigrew with the two names. Remus slammed his fist into the table. Peter was the damn rat, and he has been right under Remus Lupin's nose this whole school year. To top of his anger, Sirius was hiding under the Whomping Willow watching over his friends but forced to live in the shotty quarters.
