It drew nearer to January 8, and Remus grew weaker, paler, and sicker as the days drug along. Rue knew he needed rest, but he needed her here and no one was there to teach his class. She dreaded to call in that favor; so she decided to ask Albus if he could arrange anything. After lunch, Rue taught her husband's class so he could rest properly without any distractions. Her bright eyes caught glimpse of the time, and a small smile spread across her lips when it hit her this was the last class of the day. Ideas of being able to relax flowed through her mind as the students exited to only be ripped away viciously as she saw her brother enter the room. There was a good desk lengths between them.

"How many of Lupin's classes will I be teaching this time? " his voice cold and rude.

"Just the eighth and ninth; I have the rest covered."

Severus raised a brow; he didn't see Rosalyn anywhere. Rue saw him looking around for something in particular.

"She is with her father. "

His black eyes stopped dead into hers before he swooshed out of the room as quickly as he came into it. She rubbed her temples, hoping it would make the dread leave her once happy mind. The now semi stressed mother and wife entered their private corridors to find her sleeping husband and daughter. Rue stripped out of the confined robes and shoes, crawling beside them. She fell asleep before she could catch herself.

Remus awoke with a heavy feeling upon his chest; he looked down slightly to see two heads of brown and blonde hair. A light chuckled escaped his paling lips. He didn't have the strength to move them so he was either stuck in his position or he had to wake Rue. Of course enjoying holding the two important people in his life, he laid there dozing off once more as he could feel another wave of sickness hit him. The full moon was tomorrow and that plagued upon his mind. Rue would have to make sure their nearing three month old was asleep and had a house elf near as he was forced to endure his painful transformation; she surely wasn't going to make him go alone. He was grateful for her, but he had been taking his wolfsbane. So, in reality all he had to do was stay locked in his office till morning, but he had to make sure Rue was kept locked in their corridors after she chained him into his solitary room for twelve hours. Remus tried to not think on that as he closed his eyes. The couple were both awakened by a light knock upon their door. Rue urges Remus to stay put as she lifted her daughter off his chest and went to answer the door. Rosalyn laid her head in the crook of her neck when she caught sight of her uncle; the man didn't seem fazed by her skittish reaction. He simply handed her a small parcel before leaving.

The mother raised a brow at the simply package in her hands. She studied the hand writing but not being able to read it made her nervous. Rue bounced the baby on her thigh, wrapping her arms around to remove the brown wrapping to reveal a small black beanie and matching outfit. It was simple yet breath taking.

The infant reached for the glittery shirt with a smile. Remus made his way slowly into the room to be hit with curiosity. His body weight made the chair creaked as he sank into it.

"Who's it from?"

"Doesn't say. Here. "Rue answered as she passed the small note over to his out stretched hand.

Remus read ( To a beautiful addition to an already amazing couple) . He didn't recognize the hand writing either , but the words sounded very formilar ; at the moment he couldn't pin where he had heard them. The outfit had to be expensive by the silver glitter fabric and hand knitted beanie. It had very little detail other then the small silver flowers along the small skirt sides and shirt sleeves. Little to the couple knowledge, as they opened the gift a pair of eyes watched the baby reach for the shiny fabric; her parents seemingly enjoy the new gift. Pride, joy, and longing filled the peepers belly to hold an congratulate them on the precious baby girl Rue bounced proudly upon her upper thigh. It settled for the distant picture; for now.
