"The gold power of the apple started to invade Dream's body, the true form of the little one accepted that power, joining together with his body as if it was a soul."
~Dreamtale Comic (Joku) Pg 34:):
A feeling coursed through Dream, one that he had never felt before.
It was like taking a breath after being held underwater. It was like finally flying after falling so many times. It was like reuniting with the one you loved after having spent years sand years apart. It was ecstasy, it was an epiphany, it was a revolution flowing through his bones.
Dream gasped a breath. It was like the first breath after drowning. But how could he breath if the tendril...
Opening his eye sockets, Dream saw that the inky tentacles had withdrawn, disgusted and slightly terrified with his new aura.
At the same time, the little guardian could feel the energy from the apple approach his spirit. The latter welcomed the former in warmly, and they fused. It wasn't painful like Nightmare's fusion, but was relieving.
He felt whole.
The fruit and his spirit swirled together in a joyful song of happiness and positivity, then finally truly reunited. They became something wonderful, something durable, something that would allow one to live for a few moments longer after death. It slowly assembled itself above Dream.
The two aspects of positivity had created a soul.
The guardians stared at it, hovering softly above Dream's chest. It shone a golden sheen, a solid right-side-up heart that radiated an aura of hope and love. The host suddenly found the strength to stand, while Nightmare found that he couldn't move. He was simply too disgusted.
Dream was amazed by the sheer size of his new aura. It was at least 5 times larger than before, and whoever came close would feel hope and happiness. It was wonderful! He could survive!
But then something else came collapsing down on him. He couldn't leave his shell anymore. He had a soul now, so he couldn't leave this body anymore. He was more mortal than before.
That didn't matter to him. What mattered was that now, he could help. He could hold anyone close, like in a friendly hug, and they would get better. Just like he had done with the elder, if he tried hard enough, Dream was sure that he could create little shots of positivity.
His head was suddenly filled with voices. They whispered happily, and they ranged from high and flowery to low and joking. The joking one sounded almost just like him. All of the others were blurred and unfamiliar.
There were hundreds, thousands, millions of voices. Dream wanted to drown them out, but they were all happy voices. They gave him strength, but they also deafened him...
Don't kill, and don't be killed.
Heh, guess you could say that he 'pasta' way?
Oh, darling! Look at those ratings!
Hey, %?\*', make your creepy face!
