"You are telling me now?" Oliver fumed.

"Why are you taking your anger out on me?" I complained

"I am not."

"Sure, you are not."

"At least, you told me about it before Jason did because I would have been pretty upset about it."

"You have a lot on your plate, at the moment that's why I wanted to keep it away from you."

"I am suppose to protect you." He said as he tuck my hair behind my ears.

"I am suppose to protect you too." I said with a frown.

He smiled, "I know, but right now you are the one who needs protection."

"Can I join you and Jason now, since I confessed?"

"Nice try." He laughed, "You can relax, how is your injury?"

"Doesn't hurts much after the pain killer."

"You shouldn't be hurt in the first place either."

"We will figure out."

"Jason should be here soon, if you are hungry you can go ahead and eat your dinner and don't wait for me as I don't know how long the meeting will be."

"Okay." I nodded my head.

"I will see you later, baby." He kissed me lightly and our lips touched for a long time before he moved back. "Don't stay up,late."

Once Oliver left the room, I stretched and stood up and decided to go and take a shower. Oliver's washroom is so big with two sinks and equipments filled for two people. My favourite shampoo and shower gel filled the space and I smiled, wondering if this is how it will be like if Oliver and I share the home.

The house was way too silent as I walked downstairs for dinner. I saw few people in the dining area, setting up dinner and Jamie looked pleased seeing me.

"I was about to call you for dinner, Master had told us to prepare dinner for you and to ask you if you wanted to eat here or your room."

"Here,please." I said. "Are they still holding meeting?"

"Yup; I have sent sandwiches and coffees to them."

I nodded my head in approval. "What's for dinner?" I asked changing the topic.

I had the most lonely dinner after so long, the foods laid down seemed to be for six people,but it was only for me. Jamie and the rest of the staffs disappeared right after the foods was laid down. I called for Jamie,but it seemed like he joined Oliver in the meeting. Once I was done with dinner, I went for a walk in the backyard, the sun was just starting to set down. The lights was turned on all over the house and I can see a lot of security around the house.

They greeted me and I greeted them back. One security, however stopped me and asked if I would like to take a walk in another part of the house. I was pretty confused, he said that the view is beautiful and maybe I will love it. His explanations seemed pretty weird and did not make sense to me,but I agreed as I still have to explore and look at the design of the house. He asked me to follow him and he took me to another part of the house where there was a mini water fall and the water flow down below the bridge. The lights made it so much more beautiful. There was pretty trees around the area and there was seating spaces too. I realized, this space have very enclosed and high walls compared to the backyard. I did not question the motive and thanked him.

"Do you have any idea when Caleb is coming?" I asked him.

"End of this week." He said in a monotone and I grimaced internally at his lack of emotions and decided, that maybe the best way is to not ask him anything as it seemed like he doesn't want to hold any conversation. He must be replying as he is in duty.

I got a call from Mia and she asked about how I was doing and said, that tomorrow everyone will be coming over to meet me and I agreed.

"You know who it is?" She asked.

"No idea." I said shaking my head as if she can see me.

"It's so crazy! Who would want to hurt you?"

"You are asking me as if I know and I am hiding it from you." I said.

"I just want to make sure that you are not hiding anything from me."

I internally cussed as I am in fact, hiding something from Mia.

"Don't worry, the police are working on the case."

"Grayson said that Oliver is helping in the investigation and hired his own detectives or something."

"He did not say anything to me." I said, "I have no idea."

"Did you eat your dinner yet?"

"Hold on." I paused her, suddenly reminded of the conversation Oliver and I had about how Mia is planning to move back to NYC, I jumped in to take the opportunity to ask her, "You want to explain to me about you moving back to NYC?"

There was a pause in the other side end and she said, "I was going to tell you about it." She started.

"When? On the day, when you are moving back?"

"I swear, it was a decision up to NYU and I was not sure if they were going to accept me as student again, but  I applied for a new program."

"I heard about that."

"Oliver, sure have a big mouth."

"Don't blame him, he just told me because I was worried about you while I was staying at his place."

"I am old enough to take care of myself." She said sounding a little annoyed, I assume by the tone in her voice.

"Okay." I said ending the conversation, "I will talk to you later."

"Okay." She said and ended the call. I won't blame her for being upset with me because I know she will be upset when she finds out that I did hide something from her.

Although our situation is different yet it feels so similar somehow.
