I was eating my sandwiches while the nurse was making sure my IV drip was working fine, when Oliver walked in.

He looked tired and I see eye bags under his eyes. He looked like he have lost days of sleep, but his eyes showed sign of happiness. He did not say anything, as he came and give me a tight hug.

"Did you miss me?" I asked.

"Miss you more than you can imagine." He said still nuzzling near my neck.

"You look like you need to catch up on sleep." I said and he moved away and looked at me.

"That's true, but I am traumatized and I don't think I will allow you to go out by yourself now." He frowned.

I rolled my eyes at him and pinched his cheek. "I want to go home." and whined.

He sighed, "You still have to be here for sometime, we have to check if everything is fine."

"The doctor said I am fine!" I said and looked at the nurse, who smiled.

"That's true, but you have to stay here for a little more, so we can see your progress. You should be discharge no later than day after tomorrow." She reassured me and I sighed.

"Just a little more, baby." Oliver said and kissed my forehead.

When the nurse walked out, I looked at Oliver. "How did you find me?" I asked.

"You are always curious." He smiled, but did not answer my question.

"That was not the answer I was expecting." I said.

He sat on my bed and said, "You woke up an hour again, let's just talk about something else."

"You always keep things from me." I said, frowning.

"I keep it to protect you." He defended himself and I shake my head.

"You keeping things away from me is keeping me in the dark place." I said. "I am not aware of the threats and especially not what I should do next."

"Not now." He pleaded me and I shake my head.

"Communication, partners share everything. Happiness and sadness, you only keep me in the happy place, which is keeping me from the reality. That's not how it works."

"I want to protect you from the world." He said.

"I want to protect you too." I said.

"You are sassy now." He smiled and ruffled my hair and I smacked his hand off.

"Learnt from the expert." I winked.

He threw his head back and laughed, the room felt so much better.

"Now, time to tell me the truth."

He rolled his eyes and said, "Fine."

His playful mood all gone and now he was serious again, "Okay, where should I begin?"

"How did you find me?" That question have been bothering me since that day and I couldn't even complete my sentence, now that I think of it.

"Of all the question you had to begin with that one." He said.

I give him a look and he said, "Don't be mad."

"I think I will be mad because every time you start the sentence with that, I know you did something that I don't like and you know what I don't like, yet you will still do it. Do you like getting into trouble?"

"I always made sure I was out of trouble." He said and give me a pout and said, "okay, I might have or have not use a tracking device to find you."

His sentence process in my mind and I thought of every possible reason. "My phone?" I asked, that is the most reasonable one I can think of.

"That would have been better, but I didn't want the risk where just in case you lose your phone or someone else have your phone." He frowned. "I did the safest thing."

I raised my eyebrow as he looked at my pendant, which was on the table, they apparently had to take everything out for my surgery and check up.

"No way." I said horrified. I took the necklace and looked at it, it doesn't look suspicious to me.

"There is a tracking chip inside that heart." He said.

I scowled, "You have been tracking my whereabouts? You used the cheesiest line while putting it on me, so you can keep an eye on me. That's beyond unacceptable." I snapped at him.

"Wow, baby." He said. "Easy there, I promised myself I wouldn't use it until it is very necessary."

"I am still mad." I said, but I was grateful that I was alive all thanks to him, but that does not forgive his ways of dealing with issues.

"I know." He said, "I am so glad that you are awake."

"Me too." I said. "You should really catch up on your sleep."

"When you come home is the day that I can go to bed and sleep until next morning, now we are in public space, I don't really feel comfortable with you out in public after the attack.

"Everything will be fine." I promised him.

"I hope so." And groaned. "I still have too much stuffs to do and you have to testify too, that officers said that they need you to testify in order for legal actions."

"I don't know." I said, I am not sure about what is going on.

"I know baby, it's a lot to take in, but I am here." He said as he hugged me and I hugged him back.
