- Tony -

"Alright, son," Howard Stark pulled into the parking lot of a towering marble prep school. "Remember to call us at least once a day," he turned to face Bruce in the backseat. "Same goes for you, Bruce. I'm sure the folks are missin' you already."

Bruce smiled a closed-mouth smile and nodded, fidgeting with his fingers.

"C'mon dad, Bruce doesn't care," Tony and Bruce got out of the car.

"Hey," Howard leaned towards the open window. "Make sure to call."

"Whatever," Tony went to pull out his bags from the back. He handed Bruce his duffel.

"Bye!" they called in unison, heading to the front Rotunda.

"You know your dad isn't that bad," Bruce shouldered his bag.

"You can't say that after only talking to him three times in the six years we've been friends."

Together, they opened the doors are were admitted in the loud, crowded hallways of SHIELD academy. In front of the wall beside the hallway entrance, a white table sat lopsided, in front of two teenagers. One was younger and looked very similar to Tony, himself, with long black hair tied into a high ponytail and purple-tinted glasses. The second was Tony's age with blonde hair and wearing a purple shirt under a SHIELD jacket. The sign taped to the front of their table read, "Sign-In."

Tony pointed to it. "Guess that's where we're going."

"Freshies?" The blonde kid asked when they approached.

"I'm not, but he is," Tony gestured to Bruce. Tony himself was a junior.

"Sorry, kid, you're just kind of... short."

"I am not- I am not short!" Tony was appalled. He was five foot four and a half.

"Hey, sorry man. What's your name?" He shuffled through his folder. The girl beside him started helping someone else.

"Tony," Tony said. Bruce rolled his eyes.

"What's your last name, Tony?"

"Stark," Tony muttered.

"Holy shit, man, I didn't realize..."

"Doesn't matter, man," Tony huffed. "This is Bruce Banner."

Tony decided changing the subject was the right thing to do.

"Right, uh, Bruce," The kid dug for his papers. "Oh, I'm Clint by the way. Just thought you'd like to know," He handed them both their papers. By then, a line of students had started to form behind them. They got out of the way for the next kids.

He already knew that school was going to be a total hell.

"TONY!" A voice crashed him into a hug.

"Rhodey!" Tony laughed. "How are ya?"

"Who cares! Look at your roommate assignment," James Rhodes, Tony's other best friend in the entire world snatched his papers out of his hands and violently pointed at his own name on it where it said "roommate."

"No fucking way," Tony laughed louder.

"We should get all our stuff ready."

"Right," Tony turned to Bruce. "Hey we're somewhere on the third level. You should find your roommate and then find us, cool?"

"Yeah. Cool," Bruce weakly smiled as Tony and Rhodey practically ran to find the nearest staircase. "I'll just, find my roommate."
